Electrical Upgrade definition

Electrical Upgrade means replacement or addition of electrical equipment and systems resulting in increased generation, transmission and/or distribution capacity.
Electrical Upgrade. Landlord will provide an allowance in the amount of $500,000.00 (the “Electrical Allowance”) towards Tenant’s cost of upgrading the electrical service to the Building. Landlord will pay the Electrical Allowance to Tenant within thirty (30) days after request therefor accompanied by evidence that Tenant has incurred such cost and lien waivers acceptable to Landlord. If Landlord fails to pay the requested allowance within such thirty-day period and after an additional five (5) business days’ notice stating that the unpaid Electrical Allowance amount will be set off against Rent, Tenant shall be entitled to offset the amount of the unpaid Electrical Allowance against Rent.

Related to Electrical Upgrade

  • Electrical work Means any labor or material used in installing, altering, maintaining, or extending an electrical wiring system and the appurtenances, apparatus, or equipment used in connection with the use of electrical energy in, on, outside, or attached to a building, residence, structure, property, or premises. The term includes service entrance conductors as defined by the National Electrical Code.

  • Electric System Upgrades means any Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, or Interconnection Facilities that are determined to be necessary by the CAISO or Participating Transmission Owner, as applicable, to physically and electrically interconnect the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric system for receipt of Energy at the Point of Interconnection (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) if connecting to the CAISO Grid, or the Interconnection Point, if connecting to a part of the Participating TO’s electric system that is not part of the CAISO Grid.

  • Electrical contractor means an electrical contractor as defined in the Regulations;

  • Generator means a device that produces electricity.

  • Sewer System means pipelines or conduits, pumping stations, force mains, vehicles, vessels, conveyances, injection wells, and all other constructions, devices, and appliances appurtenant thereto used for conducting sewage or industrial waste or other wastes to a point of ultimate disposal or disposal to any water of the state. To the extent that they are not subject to section 402 of the federal Water Pollution Control Act, ditches, pipes, and drains that serve only to collect, channel, direct, and convey nonpoint runoff from precipitation are not considered as sewer systems for the purposes of this part of this division.

  • Electrical Fitter means an employee who is mainly employed in the workshops manufacturing, fitting, and repairing electrical instruments, machines, and apparatus. Electrical fitting in this definition shall include armature and transformer winding, and people solely engaged in making and repairing instruments. The legitimate possession of a certificate of competency in this particular class of work issued by the Electrical Licensing Board under the Electricity Act 1994 shall be recognised as proof of efficiency.

  • HVAC means heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

  • Maintenance Outage means a time period during which Seller plans to reduce the Power Output of the Power Product, in full or in part, in order to facilitate maintenance work on the Generating Facility, other than a Major Overhaul.

  • Sanitary Sewer System means all facilities, including ap- proved LOSS, used in the collection, transmission, storage, treatment, or discharge of any waterborne waste, whether domestic in origin or a combination of domestic, commercial, or industrial wastewater. LOSS are only considered sanitary sewer systems if they are designed to serve urban densities. Sanitary sewer system is also commonly known as public sewer system.

  • Maintenance area means any geographic region of the United States previously designated nonattainment pursuant to the CAA Amendments of 1990 and subsequently redesignated to attainment subject to the requirement to develop a maintenance plan under §175A of the CAA, as amended.
