Electronic waste collection site definition

Electronic waste collection site means a facility at a fixed or temporary site at which electronic waste is accepted from consumers and temporarily stored for more than five days in a calendar year before such waste is transported to an electronic waste consolidation facility or electronic waste recycling facility. Electronic waste collection sites include, but are not limited to, dedicated sites and facilities for the acceptance of electronic waste, and retail stores and outlets, municipal or private electronic waste collection sites and not-for-pro- fit donation sites that have agreed to accept electronic waste.
Electronic waste collection site or ‘collection site’ means a site at a fixed or temporary location at which electronic waste is accepted from consumers and stored for more than five days, consecutive or not, in a calendar year before the waste is sent off-site for recycling or reuse. Electronic waste collection sites include, but are not limited to, the following sites located within the state that have agreed to accept electronic waste from consumers:

  • Electronic toll collection system means a system of collecting tolls or charges which is capable of charging an account holder the appropriate toll or charge by transmission of information from an electronic device on a motor vehicle to the toll lane, which information is used to charge the account the appropriate toll or charge.

  • Electronic Waste or “E-Waste” means “Covered Electronic Wastes” as defined in Act (Section 42463 of Public Resources Code) including discarded electronic equipment such as, but not limited to, television sets, computer monitors, central processing units (CPUs), laptop computers, and peripherals (e.g., external computer hard drives, computer keyboards, computer mice, and computer printers).

  • Authority Electronic Property means (i) any websites controlled by the Authority, (ii) any Authority mobile device apps, (iii) any application programming interfaces (API) to the Authority’s information technology systems, (iv) any other kiosks, devices or properties for consumer interaction that are created, owned, or controlled by the Author- ity, and (v) versions and successors of the foregoing, any form or format now known or later developed, that may be used by customers obtaining products or services from the Authority.

  • Electronic Interface means access to operations support systems consisting of preordering, ordering, provisioning, maintenance and repair and billing functions.

  • Electronic prescription means a written prescription that is generated on an electronic application and is transmitted to a pharmacy as an electronic data file; Schedule II through V prescriptions shall be transmitted in accordance with 21 C.F.R. Part 1300.
