Eligible Counterparties definition

Eligible Counterparties means a counterparty to OTC derivatives with which a Fundmay trade and belonging to one of the categories approved by the Central Bank which at the date of this Prospectus comprise the following:
Eligible Counterparties means Clients cate- gorised as eligible counterparties pursuant to MiFID II and the Investor Protection Order;
Eligible Counterparties means Municipal Bond Derivatives Counterparties that entered into one or more Covered Derivatives with Wachovia.

Examples of Eligible Counterparties in a sentence

  • A Fund may invest in OTC derivatives in accordance with the Central Bank Rules and provided that the counterparties to the OTC derivatives are Eligible Counterparties.

  • It does not cover Professional Clients and Eligible Counterparties.

  • In the case of Professional Clients and Eligible Counterparties, the Company may agree to provide more limited information as provided by Applicable Regulations.

  • In particular, Retail Clients are provided with the highest level of regulatory protection; Professional Clients and Eligible Counterparties are considered to be more experienced and able to assess the risk level of trading and are thus provided with a lower level of regulatory protection.

  • Professional Clients and Eligible Counterparties are eligible for higher leverage upon their request.
