Eligible Dwelling Unit definition

Eligible Dwelling Unit means Construction of a new Part 9 dwelling unit less than 600m2 in Building area, or alteration, addition, or renovation of an existing Part 9 dwelling unit where a Permit Application is submitted on or after January 1, 2014, and upon completion of Construction achieves an efficiency rating, to a performance level of:

Examples of Eligible Dwelling Unit in a sentence

  • In event that the Owner fails to rent or place in occupancy an income eligible household in a vacant "Eligible Dwelling Unit" specified in Exhibit A within 180 calendar days of the certification date, Subgrantee shall notify the Owner in writing by registered mail of the nature of the breach.

  • The Owner further agrees to submit, or cause to have submitted to the Subgrantee, written proof of that household's eligibility, prior to lease or occupancy of such vacant "Eligible Dwelling Unit".

  • The Owner's failure to rent or place in occupancy an income eligible household in a vacant "Eligible Dwelling Unit" specified in Exhibit A within 180 calendar days of the certification date.

  • In the event that the Owner is in breach of paragraph III.D (increases the rent charged to an eligible household occupying an Eligible Dwelling Unit), the occupant(s) of the Agreement can assert any direct claim against the Owner in any action or special proceeding in any Court of appropriate jurisdiction.

  • In the event the owner of an Eligible Dwelling Unit timely and properly protests or contests, including any motion to correct the appraisal roll, the Taxable Value and/or the taxation of an Eligible Dwelling Unit with the Appraisal District (or its successor), the obligation of City to provide the Grants with respect to such Eligible Dwelling Unit for such Grant Year shall be abated until a final determination has been made of such protest or contest.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, an Eligible Dwelling Unit shall no longer be deemed an Eligible Dwelling Unit commencing in a Grant Year in which such Eligible Dwelling Unit ceases to be used as a single family residential dwelling and shall not be included in determining the Annual Grant for the Grant Year in which such change of use occurs nor any subsequent Grant Year.

Related to Eligible Dwelling Unit

  • Dwelling unit means a single unit providing complete, independent living facilities for one or more persons, including permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking and sanitation.

  • Residential Dwelling Unit means any portion of a building that contains living facilities, including a room or rooms in a facility that have shared cooking, bathing, toilet, or laundry facilities such as dormitories, shelters, assisted living facilities, and boarding homes. "Residential dwelling unit" also means facilities that include provisions for sleeping, cooking, bathing, and toilet facilities for one or more persons and are used for extended stays, such as time-shares and extended-stay motels. "Residential dwelling unit" does not mean a guest room in a motel or hotel.

  • Accessory dwelling unit means an attached or a detached residential dwelling unit that provides complete independent living facilities for one or more persons and is located on a lot with a proposed or existing primary residence. It shall include permanent provisions for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and sanitation on the same parcel as the single-family or multifamily dwelling is or will be situated. An accessory dwelling unit also includes the following:

  • Single-family dwelling unit means a structure that is usually occupied by just one household or family and for the purposes of this Policy is expected to generate an average of 250 gallons per day of wastewater.

  • Interior of the dwelling unit means the inside of the dwelling unit, consisting of interior walls,

  • new dwelling means, for the purposes of the definition of “second authority” and paragraphs 91, 98 and 103, the dwelling to which an applicant has moved, or is about to move, in which the applicant will be resident;

  • Residential Dwelling Any one of the following: (i) a detached one-family dwelling, (ii) a detached two- to four-family dwelling, (iii) a one-family dwelling unit in a Xxxxxx Xxx eligible condominium project, (iv) a manufactured home, or (v) a detached one-family dwelling in a planned unit development, none of which is a co-operative or mobile home.

  • Dwelling means any building, structure, or portion thereof which is occupied as, or designed or intended for occupancy as, a residence by one or more families, and any vacant land which is offered for sale or lease for the construction or location thereon of any such building, structure, or portion thereof.

  • Housing Unit means a detached or attached (including townhouse condominium or condominium) single-family house (but excluding mobile homes) owned by the Restricted Parent or a Subsidiary of the Restricted Parent (i) which is completed or for which there has been a start of construction and (ii) which has been or is being constructed on any real estate which immediately prior to the start of construction constituted a Lot.

  • Junior accessory dwelling unit means a unit that is no more than 500 square feet in size and contained entirely within a single-family residence. A junior accessory dwelling unit may include separate sanitation facilities, or may share sanitation facilities with the existing structure.

  • Apartment Dwelling means any dwelling unit within a building containing more than four dwelling units where the units are connected by an interior corridor;

  • Multi-family dwelling means a structure that contains more than one separate dwelling unit, which is used, or occupied, or intended to be used or occupied, in whole, or in part as the home or residence of one or more persons.

  • semi-detached dwelling means a building divided vertically into two dwelling units each of which has a separate entrance and access to grade;

  • Manufactured dwelling means a residential trailer, a mobile home or a manufactured

  • private dwelling means any part of a structure that is occupied as a residence, or any part of a structure or outdoor living area that is accessory to, and used wholly for the purposes of, a residence;

  • Manufactured dwelling park means a place where four or more manufactured dwellings

  • Residential Unit means a home, apartment, residential condominium unit or mobile home, serving as the principal place of residence.

  • Rooming unit means any room or group of rooms forming a single habitable unit used or intended to be used for living and sleeping, but not for cooking or eating purposes.

  • single detached dwelling means a completely detached Building containing only one Dwelling Unit;

  • Multifamily dwelling means a structure that contains more than one separate residential dwelling unit, which is used or occupied, or intended to be used or occupied, in whole or in part, as the home or residence of one or more persons.

  • Generating Unit means one or more generating equipment combinations typically consisting of prime mover(s), electric generator(s), electric transformer(s), steam generator(s) and air emission control devices.

  • Affordable Housing Unit means a rental unit in an affordable housing building that rents for an amount that is affordable to households at or below 60 percent of area median income, as median income was most recently determined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota-Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area, as adjusted for household size and number of bedrooms.

  • Affordable Housing Units – means the Affordable Housing to be provided as part of the development in accordance with the application and/or any subsequent reserved matters approval.
