Email Delivery Time is defined as the average of email delivery times, measured in minutes over a calendar month, where email delivery is defined as the elapsed time from when a business email enters the EOP network to when the first delivery attempt is made.

Email Delivery Time is defined as the average of email delivery times, measured in minutes over a calendar month, where email delivery is defined as the elapsed time from when a business email enters the EOP network to when the first delivery attempt is made. Email Delivery Time is measured and recorded every 5 minutes, then sorted by elapsed time. The fastest 95% of measurements are used to create the average for the calendar month. We use simulated or test emails to measure delivery time. The Email Delivery Service Level applies only to legitimate business email (non-bulk email) delivered to valid email accounts.
