Emergency Field Trip definition

Emergency Field Trip. A field trip that was not filled using the original posting or appeared after the original posting and more than four (4) hours prior to the trip.
Emergency Field Trip is defined as a school function/event that would require leaving the school property with less than a 48 (forty-eight) hour notice.

Examples of Emergency Field Trip in a sentence

  • When a Bus Driver does an Emergency Field Trip, this field trip is not charged against other field trips.

  • If an Emergency Field Trip is canceled after the Bus Driver has been selected, the pin remains on the selected Bus Driver’s name.

  • The Transportation Supervisor will call the first Bus Driver according to where the pin is located on the Emergency Field Trip list.

  • If that Bus Driver refuses the field trip, the Transportation Supervisor will continue to follow the Emergency Field Trip List that lists Bus Drivers by classification seniority.

  • Emergency Field Trip List (within 24 hours only) • Day trip -Any trip starting between the hours of 9:30 AM and 1:30 PM • Night trips -any trip starting after 5:00 PM.

  • The Field Trip Bidding Sign-Up Sheet and the Emergency Field Trip Sign-Up Sheet will be posted on the first day for students of each school year.

  • After the attempt to apply the seniority list through three (3) drivers, the trip is now deemed an Emergency Field Trip subject to the provision in 21.05(F) #7.
