Energy baseline definition

Energy baseline means a calculation of the amount of energy
Energy baseline means a calculation of the amount of energy used in an existing facility before the installation or implementation of the energy cost savings measures.
Energy baseline means the calculation or measure of each type of energy consumed in the Facility, prior to the installation of Energy Efficiency Measures. For purposes of this Contract, peak electrical demand, measured in kilowatts (kW) shall be considered a type of energy. The Energy Baseline of this Contract shall be based on those items set forth in Schedule 4 to Division 3 of this Contract, as part of Phase I work, including without limitation, the average consumption of electricity, fuel and water as reflected by utility bills for the 24 months preceding the month in which ESCO delivers the Phase 1, Part A Technical Energy Audit.

Examples of Energy baseline in a sentence

  • The main points of an energy report shall be: ▪ Information about the building and the EnMS.▪ Energy baseline and measurements taken in the period.▪ Energy consumption analysis.▪ Conclusion.▪ Annexes.

  • Energy baseline (EnB) was established for each Significant Energy Use areas (SEU) for comparing the energy performance of the year with previous year.

  • Energy baseline (electricity consumption)If the energy displaced by the project is electricity, the energy baseline is calcu- lated as follows:EB = ∑ i(ni .

  • The main points of an energy report shall be:  Information about the building and the EnMS. Energy baseline and measurements taken in the period. Energy consumption analysis. Conclusion. Annexes.

  • Energy baseline = The electricity consumption (A)Emission baseline = Ax the relevant emission factor calculated as described in category I.D (Grid connected renewable electricity). For example, consider the case of a solar water heater used in place of an existing electric water heater.

More Definitions of Energy baseline

Energy baseline means the annual average total kilowatt-hours of distribution service sold to retail customers of the electric utility in the preceding three calendar years as reported in the electric utility's most recent long-term forecast report, pursuant to division (A)(2)(a) of section 4928.66 of the Revised Code.
Energy baseline or “EB” means, as more particularly described in parts (a) and (b) below, with respect to any particular hour of the day and any particular Participating Account, the average amount of energy consumed by such Participating Account for such particular hour of the day during a specified period of time that is used to measure the Participating Account’s reduction in energy for such hour after a Dispatch or Seller Dispatch. The Energy Baseline shall be calculated as follows:
Energy baseline means the energy baseline is a calculation or measure of each type of energy consumed in existing facilities, prior to the installation of energy saving measures, and presented in specific energy consumption units. The Energy Baseline shall be accurately defined, as mutually discussed, finalized and agreed amongst the ESCO, MUNICIPALITY, TENDER INVITING AUTHORITY and Third-party agency post-submission of IGA.
Energy baseline or “EB” has the meaning, for Demand Response Projects only, set forth in Section 3.04 of Attachment 1.
Energy baseline means the amount of energy consumed each year
Energy baseline means a calculation of the amount of energy used in an existing
Energy baseline or “EB” means, as more particularly described below, with respect to any particular hour of the day and any particular Participating Account, the average amount of energy consumed by such Participating Account for such particular hour of the day during a specified period of time that is used to measure the Participating Account’s reduction in energy for such hour after a Dispatch or Seller Dispatch. The Energy Baseline shall be calculated as follows: For each hour of the day, the EB for a particular hour for an individual Participating Account is the average recorded energy consumption (measured in kWh by the Qualifying Meter) of such Participating Account during such hour for the ten (10) Measurement Days prior to a Seller Dispatch or a Dispatch, as applicable. Seller must be able to establish a valid EB for each Participating Account. If Seller is unable to establish an EB for a Participating Account, then such Participating Account shall be excluded from the DR Resource.
