Boiler Fuel means natural gas used as fuel for the generation of steam and in internal combustion turbine engines for the generations of electricity.
Motor fuel means petroleum or a petroleum-based substance that is motor gasoline, aviation gasoline, No. 1 or No. 2 diesel fuel, or any grade of gasohol, and is typically used in the operation of a motor engine.
Engines means, as of any date of determination, all Engines then leased hereunder.
Engine under the Lease. The term "Engines" means, as of any date of determination, both Engines then leased to the Lessee pursuant to the Lease.
Fossil fuel means natural gas, petroleum, coal, or any form of solid, liquid, or gaseous fuel derived from such material.
Aviation fuel means all flammable liquids composed of a
Jet Fuel means aviation fuel, except for JP-8, Military Jet Fuel, which is kerosene based and meets
Aircraft means any machine that can derive support in the atmosphere from the reactions of the air other than the reactions of the air against the earth’s surface;
Bulk gasoline plant means a gasoline storage and distribution facility with an average daily throughput of 20,000 gallons (76,000 liters) of gasoline or less on a 30-day rolling average.
Spent fuel means any fuel element or fuel component, solid or liquid, which has been used or exposed to radiation in a nuclear reactor;
Bi-fuel vehicle means a vehicle with two separate fuel storage systems that is designed to run primarily on only one fuel at a time; however, the simultaneous use of both fuels is permitted in limited amount and duration.
Bulk plant means a motor fuel storage and distribution facility that is not a terminal and from
Compression Ignition Engine means an internal combustion engine with operating characteristics significantly similar to the theoretical diesel combustion cycle. The regulation of power by controlling fuel supply in lieu of a throttle is indicative of a compression ignition engine.
APU means the auxiliary power unit of the Aircraft.
Fuel means any solid, liquid or gaseous combustible material;
Heating fuel means fossil-based heating fuel, including oil,
Fuel system means the components which store or transport fuel on board the vehicle and comprise the fuel tank system, all fuel and vapour lines, any non-tank mounted fuel pumps and the activated carbon canister.
Bulk mixing plant means machinery, appliances or other similar devices that are assembled in such a manner so as to be able to mix materials in bulk for the purposes of using the mixed product for construction work;
Flex fuel vehicle means a vehicle with one fuel storage system that can run on different mixtures of two or more fuels.
Spares means a part or a sub-assembly or assembly for substitution which is ready to replace an identical or similar part or sub-assembly or assembly including a component or an accessory;
Transportation fuel means electricity and any liquid or
Diesel engine means an internal combustion, compression-ignition (CI) engine with operating characteristics significantly similar to the theoretical diesel combustion cycle. The regulation of power by controlling fuel supply in lieu of a throttle is indicative of a compression ignition engine.
Nuclear Fuel means any material which is capable of producing energy by a self-sustaining chain process of nuclear fission.
Dual-Fuel Engine means an engine that is designed to simultaneously operate with a liquid fuel and a gaseous fuel, both fuels being metered separately, the consumed amount of one of the fuels relative to the other one being able to vary depending on the operation;
Oil fuel means any oil used as fuel in connection with the propulsion and auxiliary machinery of the ship in which such oil is carried.
Engine Manufacturer means CFM International, Inc.
