Enhanced DBS Check definition

Enhanced DBS Check means a disclosure of information comprised in a Standard DBS Check together with any information held locally by police forces that it is reasonably considered might be relevant to the post applied for;
Enhanced DBS Check means a DBS check disclosing all spent and unspent convictions, cautions reprimands and final warnings and which may include any other information held in police records that is considered relevant by the police, for example, details of minor offences, non-conviction information on the Police National Computer such as fixed penalty notices and, in some cases, allegations

  • Safeguarding Measures▪ Invitations for interview will stress that the successful candidate will be subject to thorough identity checks and an Enhanced DBS Check.
