Environmental and Safety Regulations definition

Environmental and Safety Regulations means all applicable federal, state or local laws, ordinances, codes, rules, orders and regulations with respect to any environmental, pollution, toxic or hazardous waste or health and safety law, including, without limitation, those promulgated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the Department of Energy, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, the Department of the Interior, or any other federal or state regulatory agency, or any of their predecessor or successor agencies.

  • Environmental pollution means the contaminating or rendering unclean or impure the air, land or waters of the state, or making the same injurious to public health, harmful for commer- cial or recreational use, or deleterious to fish, bird, animal or plant life.
