Environmental Mitigation Project definition
Environmental Mitigation Project means a project funded or implemented by Defendants as a remedial measure to mitigate alleged damage to human health or the environment, including National Parks or Wilderness Areas, claimed to have been caused by the alleged violations described in the complaints or to compensate Plaintiffs for costs necessitated as a result of the alleged damages.
Environmental Mitigation Project means a project funded or implemented by Defendant as a remedial measure to mitigate alleged harm to human health or the environment claimed to have been caused by the alleged violations described in the Complaint.
Environmental Mitigation Project means the requirements specified in Section V and Appendix B of this Consent Decree to remedy, reduce, or offset past excess ozone precursor emissions resulting from XTO’s alleged violations of the Clean Air Act in this matter. Ozone is not emitted directly from air pollution sources but rather it is a photochemical oxidant formed when certain chemicals – VOCs and NOx – in the ambient air react in the presence of sunlight.
Examples of Environmental Mitigation Project in a sentence
Within thirty days of a court order approving this Consent Decree, AES shall establish an interest-bearing escrow account, entitled the “AES Environmental Mitigation Project Account,” and shall deposit therein one million dollars ($1,000,000).
If no projects proposed by AES in the sixty-day period are approved by the DEC and OAG, or if the approved projects will not use up the full sum in the AES Environmental Mitigation Project Account, the DEC and OAG may select for financing projects proposed by the DEC, OAG or other persons or entities.
More Definitions of Environmental Mitigation Project
Environmental Mitigation Project or “Project” shall mean the projects identified in Section IX (Environmental Mitigation Projects) and Appendix D of this Consent Decree.
Environmental Mitigation Project means the requirements specified in Subsection V.K and Appendix H of this Consent Decree to remedy, reduce, or offset past excess emissions resulting from Mewbourne’s alleged violations of the Act in this matter.

Environmental Mitigation Project or “Project” shall mean the requirements specified in Subsection V.N. and Appendix G of this Consent Decree to remedy, reduce, or offset past alleged excess emissions resulting from Apache’s alleged violations of the Clean Air Act, the AQCA, and the TCAA in this matter.

Environmental Mitigation Project means a project specified in Section V (Environmental Mitigation Projects) and Appendix E of this Consent Decree to remedy, reduce, or offset past excess emissions resulting from Marathon’s alleged violations of the Act in this matter.
