EPN Field definition

EPN Field means the field or bits, described in the Specification, used to indicate that Commercial Audiovisual Content is to be protected using DTCP but that copy control restrictions are not being asserted over such content.

Examples of EPN Field in a sentence

  • Where the Decrypted DT Data is encoded Copy Freely with the EPN Field unasserted, in which case there are no restrictions on output.

  • A Licensed Product may not make, or cause to be made, a digital copy of Decrypted DT Data for which the associated EPN Field is asserted except (a) as a Transitory Image or (b) if such copy is made using one or more of the methods set out in Section 2.2.1.1 through Section 2.2.1.3.

  • Competing Products means any product or service in existence or under development that competes with any product or service of the Company Group about which the Participant obtained Confidential Information or for which the Participant provided advisory services or had sales, origination, marketing, production, distribution, research or development responsibilities in the last twenty-four (24) months of employment with the Company Group.

  • Research License means a nontransferable, nonexclusive license to make and to use the Licensed Products or the Licensed Processes as defined by the Licensed Patent Rights for purposes of research and not for purposes of commercial manufacture or distribution or in lieu of purchase.

  • Licensed Product means any method, process, composition, product, service, or component part thereof that would, but for the granting of the rights set forth in this Agreement, infringe a Valid Claim contained in the Licensed Patents.
