Exceptional Dispatch definition

Exceptional Dispatch is defined in Appendix A to the CAISO Tariff.

Examples of Exceptional Dispatch in a sentence

  • The costs of such Exceptional Dispatch will be allocated to the responsible MSS Operator.

  • If, independent of the CAISO, the Scheduling Coordinator for the MSS is unable to resolve Congestion internal to the MSS or at the MSS boundaries in Real-Time, the CAISO will use Exceptional Dispatch Instructions on resources that have been bid into the HASP and RTM to resolve the Congestion.

  • The greater of (a) or (b) is multiplied by the amount of Energy provided by the resource under Exceptional Dispatch, and the results of that multiplication are summed across the successive hours of the 30-day period.

  • The CAISO will record the circumstances that have led to the Exceptional Dispatch.

  • If, independent of the CAISO, the Scheduling Coordinator for the MSS is unable to resolve Congestion internal to the MSS or at the MSS boundaries in Real-Time, the CAISO will use Exceptional Dispatch Instructions on resources that have been bid into the RTM to resolve the Congestion.

  • In all cases where a resource is subject to Mitigation Measures under Section 39.10, and the resource is eligible for supplemental revenues pursuant to Section 39.10.3, Exceptional Dispatch Energy delivered by the resource shall be settled as set forth in either Section 11.5.6.7.1 or Section 11.5.6.7.3, whichever is applicable.

  • Any Self-Schedules below the Minimum Load level are treated as fixed Self-Schedules and are not subject to uneconomic adjustments for Congestion Management but may be subject to decommitment via an Exceptional Dispatch if necessary as a last resort to relieve Congestion that could not otherwise be managed.

  • In all cases where a resource is subject to Mitigation Measures under Section 39.10, and the resource is not eligible for supplemental revenues pursuant to Section 39.10.3, Exceptional Dispatch Energy delivered by the resource shall be settled as set forth in either Section 11.5.6.7.2 or Section 11.5.6.7.3, whichever is applicable.

  • The FMM IIE Settlement Amount and RTD IIE Settlement Amount for this type of Exceptional Dispatch shall be calculated as the product of the sum of all of these types of Energy and the FMM or RTD LMP.

Related to Exceptional Dispatch

  • Dispatch means the act of reducing all or a portion of the electrical consumption of the PDR pursuant to a Dispatch Instruction.

  • Peak-Hour Dispatch means, for purposes of calculating the Energy and Ancillary Services Revenue Offset under Tariff, Attachment DD, section 5, an assumption, as more fully set forth in the PJM Manuals, that the Reference Resource is committed in the Day-Ahead Energy Market in four distinct blocks of four hours of continuous output for each block from the peak-hour period beginning with the hour ending 0800 EPT through to the hour ending 2300 EPT for any day when the average day-ahead LMP for the area for which the Net Cost of New Entry is being determined is greater than, or equal to, the cost to generate (including the cost for a complete start and shutdown cycle) for at least two hours during each four-hour block, where such blocks shall be assumed to be committed independently; provided that, if there are not at least two economic hours in any given four-hour block, then the Reference Resource shall be assumed not to be committed for such block; and to the extent not committed in any such block in the Day- Ahead Energy Market under the above conditions based on Day-Ahead LMPs, is dispatched in the Real-Time Energy Market for such block if the Real-Time LMP is greater than or equal to the cost to generate under the same conditions as described above for the Day-Ahead Energy Market.

  • Economic Dispatch means the sending of dispatch instructions to generation units to minimize the cost of reliably meeting load demands.

  • Locational Deliverability Area or “LDA” shall mean a geographic area within the PJM Region that has limited transmission capability to import capacity to satisfy such area’s reliability requirement, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in connection with preparation of the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan, and as specified in Reliability Assurance Agreement, Schedule 10.1.

  • Expedited Dispute Timetable means the accelerated timetable for the resolution of disputes as set out in paragraph 2.6;

  • Additional Disruption Event means any of Change in Law, Hedging Disruption and/or Increased Cost of Hedging.

  • Locational Deliverability Area Reliability Requirement means the projected internal capacity in the Locational Deliverability Area plus the Capacity Emergency Transfer Objective for the Delivery Year, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in connection with preparation of the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan, less the minimum internal resources required for all FRR Entities in such Locational Deliverability Area.

  • Final Disruption Date has the meaning provided in Annex A to this Confirmation. Notwithstanding the foregoing and anything to the contrary in the Equity Definitions, if a Market Disruption Event occurs on any Expiration Date, the Calculation Agent, acting commercially reasonably, may determine that such Expiration Date is a Disrupted Day only in part, in which case (i) the Calculation Agent shall make commercially reasonable adjustments to the Number of Warrants for the relevant Component for which such day shall be the Expiration Date and shall designate the Scheduled Trading Day determined in the manner described in the second preceding sentence as the Expiration Date for the remaining Warrants for such Component, and (ii) the VWAP Price for such Disrupted Day shall be determined by the Calculation Agent based on transactions in the Shares on such Disrupted Day taking into account the nature and duration of such Market Disruption Event on such day. Any Scheduled Trading Day on which, as of the date hereof, the Exchange is scheduled to close prior to its normal close of trading shall be deemed not to be a Scheduled Trading Day; if a closure of the Exchange prior to its normal close of trading on any Scheduled Trading Day is scheduled following the date hereof, but prior to the open of the regular trading session of the Exchange on such day, then such Scheduled Trading Day shall be deemed to be a Disrupted Day in full.

  • Prepaid wireless calling service means a telecommunications service that provides the right to utilize mobile wireless service as well as other non-telecommunications services, including the download of digital products delivered electronically, content and ancillary services, which must be paid for in advance that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the number declines with use in a known amount.

  • Mandatory Tender Notice means, in connection with the Mandatory Tender of VRDP Shares, a notice, substantially in the form attached to the VRDP Shares Remarketing Agreement as Annex II, delivered by the Fund or the Tender and Paying Agent on behalf of the Fund to the Holders and the Liquidity Provider in accordance with this Agreement and specifying a Mandatory Tender Event and Purchase Date.

  • Availability Notice has the meaning given to it in the Grid Code;

  • Prepaid calling service means the right to access exclusively telecommunications services, which must be paid for in advance and which enables the origination of calls using an access number or authorization code, whether manually or electronically dialed, and that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the number declines with use in a known amount.

  • Final Delivery Date means the date the Supplier is entitled to deliver the Products form the Purchaser even if the Products have not been called off as agreed in any Sales Agreement.

  • Toll Billing Exception Service (TBE) means a service that allows End Users to restrict third number billing or collect calls to their lines.

  • Mediation Notice is defined in Section 6.2(b).

  • Serious emotional disturbance means a diagnosable mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder affecting a minor that exists or has existed during the past year for a period of time sufficient to meet diagnostic criteria specified in the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association and approved by the department and that has resulted in functional impairment that substantially interferes with or limits the minor's role or functioning in family, school, or community activities. The following disorders are included only if they occur in conjunction with another diagnosable serious emotional disturbance:

  • Co-occurring disorder specialist means an individual

  • Outside this state means a location in another state or a country other than the United States, whether or not the country is a foreign country.

  • Notice to Proceed (NTP) means the authorization issued by the CO to start performance on this Contract.

  • Toll Billing Exception Service (TBE means a service that allows End Users to restrict third number billing or collect calls to their lines.

  • Determination Business Day means a day (other than a Saturday or Sunday) on which commercial banks are open for general business (including dealings in foreign exchange) in Hong Kong, London and New York City;

  • Cure Period means the period specified in this Agreement for curing any breach or default of any provision of this Agreement by the Party responsible for such breach or default and shall:

  • Company Cure Period has the meaning specified in Section 10.01(b).

  • Rectification Notice means a notice in writing that identifies a defect in a work and requires rectification of the defect within a specified period of time.

  • Qualified Military Service means any service in the uniformed services (as defined in chapter 43 of title 38, United States Code) by any individual if such individual is entitled to reemployment rights under such chapter with respect to such service.

  • Notice Event means any of the events enumerated in paragraph (b)(5)(i)(C) of the Rule and listed in Section 4(a) of this Disclosure Agreement.
