Qualified Military Service definition

Qualified Military Service means any service in the uniformed services (as defined in chapter 43 of title 38, United States Code) by any individual if such individual is entitled to reemployment rights under such chapter with respect to such service and to the Employer.
Qualified Military Service means service by a Participant or employee in the armed forces of the United States of a character that entitles the Participant or employee to re-employment under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act of 1994, but only if the Participant or employee is re-employed during the period following such service in which his right of re-employment is protected by such Act.
Qualified Military Service means any service (either voluntary or involuntary) by an individual in the Uniformed Services if such individual is entitled to reemployment rights with a Participating Company with respect to such service.

  • Also, if you are a Participant in the Plan and die while performing Qualified Military Service, then your Account balance will become 100% vested.

More Definitions of Qualified Military Service

Qualified Military Service means any service in the uniformed services (as defined in Chapter 43 of Title 38, United States Code) by any Employee if such Employee is entitled to reemployment rights under such chapter with respect to such service.
