Exhaust emission definition

Exhaust emission or “exhaust gas” means the com- bination of substances emitted into the atmosphere from the tail- pipe or tailpipes of a motor vehicle.
Exhaust emission means any substance emitted to the atmosphere from the exhaust port of the combustion chamber of a diesel engine.
