Exit Award definition

Exit Award means an award which is made in recognition of the credit achieved by a student who has not achieved sufficient credit to be made the award associated with the programme on which they enrolled. Important Information means the policies, rules and regulations, and other documents included in Appendix 1: Important Information. Programme means programme of study. Provisional enrolment means a student who has enrolled with the University for the academic session, thereby confirming that they intend to study during the academic session and that they agree to the Terms and Conditions set out below, but who has yet to satisfy one or more requirements of enrolment (for example a valid DBS check).

  • The Area of Study and Training / Sub-area / Programme Area of the Intermediate Exit Award are aligned with those of the Higher Diploma award.

  • Accordingly a student awarded such APEL credit will not be eligible for an Exit Award where their APEL credit comprises more than half of the credit required for that Exit Award.Where credit is awarded under this mechanism, it will be clearly recorded as ‘APEL credit’ and will not be awarded a mark.

  • Performance Unit Award means an Award granted under Article XI of the Plan under which, upon the satisfaction of predetermined Performance Goals, a cash payment shall be made to the Holder, based on the number of Units awarded to the Holder.

  • Equity Award means all incentive stock options, non-statutory stock options, shares of restricted stock, restricted stock units or other incentive equity awards in respect of shares of the Company’s equity securities that have been or will be granted to you by the Company.

  • Performance Cash Award means an award of cash granted pursuant to the terms and conditions of Section 6(c)(ii).

  • Phantom Stock Unit means the right to receive the value of one (1) share of the Company’s Common Stock, subject to the provisions of Section 8.4 of the Plan.
