Exposed animal means a bovine animal which has been exposed to the infection of a TSE;
Exposed animal means any animal that has had contact with a scrapie-positive animal or had contact with a premises where a scrapie-positive animal has resided and for which a flock plan has not yet been completed. Exposed animals shall be evaluated by a state or federal veterinarian in concur- rence with the DSE and state veterinarian and may be redes- ignated into a risk category according to genetic resistance and exposure and may be restricted or have restrictions re- moved in accordance with current USDA regulations.
