Extended Class Nursing Staff definition

Extended Class Nursing Staff means those Registered Nurses in the Extended Class who are:

Extended Class Nursing Staff means those registered nurses in the extended class in the Corporation who are not employed by the Corporation and to whom the Board has granted privileges to diagnose, prescribe for or treat patients in the Hospital;

Extended Class Nursing Staff means those Extended Class Nurses in the Hospital, who are not employed by the Hospital and to whom the Board has granted Privileges to diagnose, prescribe for or treat patients;

• A member of the Extended Class Nursing Staff is not eligible to hold an office of the Medical Staff.

• A member of the Extended Class Nursing Staff may attend Medical Staff meetings, but shall not be eligible to vote at a Medical Staff meeting.

• An application for appointment to the Extended Class Nursing Staff shall be processed consistent with the Public Hospitals Act and in accordance with the Standardized Credentialing Policy.

• The Board, after consulting with the Medical/Professional Staff Association and considering the recommendation of the Medical Advisory Committee, may make Rules and Regulations as it deems necessary, including rules and regulations for Patient care and safety and the conduct of members of the Medical Staff, Dental Staff, Midwifery Staff and Extended Class Nursing Staff.

Extended Class Nursing Staff means those Registered Nurses in the Extended Class in the Hospital:

Extended Class Nursing Staff means a member of the College of Nurses of Ontario who is a registered nurse and who holds an extended certificate of registration under the Nursing Act, 1991;
