External Users. You do not need Access Licenses for external users. External users must be designated in the user table for the software, and cannot use any clients provided by the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Application Programming Interface (API), such as the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Windows client, or the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2018 Web Client. External User licenses must not be used for business process outsourcing purposes.
