Firm Energy. Energy (kWh)
Firm Energy is as defined in Service Tariff No. WNY-2.
Firm Energy means a specified quantity of energy committed by a qualifying facility to an electric utility.

  • The Contract Demand for the Customer’s Allocation may be modified by the Authority if the amount of Firm Power and Firm Energy available for sale as EP or RP from the Project is modified as required to comply with any ruling, order, or decision of any regulatory or judicial body having jurisdiction, including but not limited to FERC.

  • For the purpose of this Service Tariff, Firm Power and Firm Energy shall be deemed to be offered when the Authority is able to supply Firm Power and Firm Energy to the Authority’s designated NYISO load bus.

  • Subject to Section IV.B.2, the Authority shall provide to the Customer in any Billing Period Firm Energy associated with Firm Power.

  • The offer of Firm Energy for delivery shall fulfill the Authority’s obligations for purposes of this provision whether or not the Firm Energy is taken by the Customer.


More Definitions of Firm Energy

Firm Energy means the Energy supplied during a month at the Hydro Delivery Points net of the Energy supplied at the Delivery Points to Newfoundland Power less Interruptible Energy, Generation Outage Energy, Oil- fired Boiler Replacement Energy and Secondary Energy. The Firm Energy exclusive of Frequency Converter Replacement Energy can in no case exceed the Amount of Power on Order for the period multiplied by the hours in that month;
Firm Energy means the Energy associated with the Firm Power;
Firm Energy is as defined in the Service Tariff.
Firm Energy means energy corresponding to Firm Power
Firm Energy means Energy that City shall sell and deliver and Customer shall purchase and receive unless relieved of their respective obligations without liability by Force Majeure, but only to the extent that, and for the period during which, either City's or Customer's performance is prevented by Force Majeure.
