Focused Library definition

Focused Library means a library of compounds selected from the 3DP Synthetically Accessible Library and synthesized by 3DP using DirectedDiversity(R) Technology.
Focused Library means any chemical compound library that --------------- has been synthesized by or on behalf of 3DP specifically for use by or on behalf of 3DP or BIOCRYST in the course of the Research Program.
Focused Library means a library of Compounds, consisting of a total of approximately [**] to approximately [**] Compounds, which is created to specifically explore the SAR of an Active, the timeline for making and testing of a Focused Library to be determined by amendment of the Research Plan by the JRC.

  • In the event that 3DP desires to include a 3DP Compound in a Focused Library, 3DP shall give prior written notice to BIOCRYST of its intention and the parties shall negotiate in good faith as to the terms and conditions for use of such 3DP Compound in the course of the Research Program.

  • In addition, at Trimeris’ request, CRL shall make available to Trimeris a copy of any and all quality control data and methods used for characterization of the Focused Library Compounds delivered to Trimeris.

More Definitions of Focused Library

Focused Library means any chemical compound library designed and prepared by DiCE in connection with and specifically for screening in the Research Program based on (i) one or more Active Compounds, including without limitation, SAR data for a given Target, and/or (ii) Confidential Information of either Party regarding structures that have been determined to have activity with respect to a particular Sanofi Target), and/or (iii) information in the public domain. For clarity, it is understood and agreed that information used to design a Focused Library may be derived from various sources including but not limited to, results obtained during Stage 1 of the Research Program.
Focused Library means any chemical compound library prepared specifically for screening in the Research Program based on proprietary structures (i) with activity disclosed by Organon to Pharmacopeia, or (ii) generated by Pharmacopeia on behalf of Organon in connection with the Research Program.
Focused Library means a set of compounds determined by a common template that has been reacted with a set of analogous building blocks. The function of a Focused Library is to optimize the potency and affinity of derivative compounds. Compounds that are prepared in a Focused Library represent a close set of analogs and a structural activity relationship cluster set.
