Forestry Activities definition

Forestry Activities means: planting, growing, harvesting, spraying, pruning, or cutting or removal of live or dead trees, other than Christmas trees and nursery stock, in accordance with generally accepted forestry practices and Best Management Practices for commercial or non-commercial purposes.
Forestry Activities includes the activities of management, planning, wood supply analysis, coordination, certification, the cultivation and harvesting of both timber and non-timber products, transporting, silviculture and the construction, maintenance and decommissioning of access roads on the Pilot Project Land, but does not include clearing the land or changing the nature of the habitat for such uses as agricultural or other non-forest related activities.
Forestry Activities means, but is not limited to, the activities of management, planning, wood supply analysis, coordination, certification, harvesting, transporting, silviculture and the construction, maintenance and decommissioning of access roads on the Agreement Lands.

Forestry Activities means any activity on forest land associated with the reforesting, growing, managing, protecting and harvesting of timber, wood and forest products including nongame species.

  • Economic activities shall in principle include activities of an industrial, commercial and professional character and activities of craftsmen;
