Former Code of Ethics definition

Former Code of Ethics means the Former Code of Ethics of World Athletics (containing principles of ethical conduct and related rules and procedures as revoked and replaced with the Integrity Code of Conduct, with effect from 3 April 2017, except to the extent expressly provided for as set out in the Rules.
Former Code of Ethics means the Former Code of Ethics of the IAAF (and any predecessor codes of ethics) which commenced on 1 January 2015 and was last amended on 26 November 2015 containing principles of ethical conduct and related rules and procedures, as revoked and replaced with the Integrity Code of Conduct on 3 April 2017, except to the extent expressly provided for as set out in the Rules.

  • The Integrity Code of Conduct stated these proceedings would be governed by the substantive provisions of the Former Code of Ethics or predecessor code of ethics (as applicable), but the rules of procedure would be the same as those applying to alleged violations of the Code including the Integrity Unit Rules, the Reporting, Investigations and Prosecution Rules – Non-Doping, the Disciplinary Tribunal Rules and the Anti-Doping Rules.(These proceedings are referred to below as Category C Proceedings).

  • The Integrity Code of Conduct, in effect from 3 April 2017, previously provided that proceedings for alleged violations of the Former Code of Ethics or any predecessor code of ethics filed with the Ethics Board after 31 December 2016, would be referred or transferred to the Integrity Unit.(formerly Rule 5.5).

  • Explanatory NoteWith effect from 3 April 2017, and in accordance with the 2017 Constitution, the Ethics Board continued for a period to be decided by Council for the purposes of proceedings/complaints filed with it prior to 31 December 2016 under the Former Code of Ethics and any predecessor code of ethics and as further described in the Rules.

  • All Category C Proceedings will continue to be governed by: the substantive provisions of the Former Code of Ethics or predecessor code of ethics (as applicable) and other applicable Rules in force at the relevant time, unless the Disciplinary Tribunal determines that the principle of lex mitior applies in the circumstances of the case; and the Procedural Rules of the Code, with any charges to be heard and decided by the Disciplinary Tribunal.

  • All Category B Proceedings will continue to be governed by:the substantive provisions of the Former Code of Ethics or predecessor code of ethics (as applicable) and other applicable Rules in force at the relevant time; and, the Procedural Rules of the Ethics Board.

  • Subject to Rule 12.7 with effect from 31 March 2020, the Ethics Board shall be disestablished and will cease to have jurisdiction and authority to act under the Former Code of Ethics or any predecessor code of ethics.

  • The Integrity Unit shall decide whether to investigate and prosecute any alleged violations of the Former Code of Ethics or any predecessor codes of ethics in any Category A Proceedings.

  • Subject to Rule 12.6, all Category A Proceedings will be governed by: the substantive provisions of the Former Code of Ethics or predecessor code of ethics (as applicable) and other applicable Rules in force at the relevant time, unless the Disciplinary Tribunal determines that the principle of lex mitior applies in the circumstances of the case; and, the Procedural Rules of the Code, with any charges to be heard and decided by the Disciplinary Tribunal.

  • In any matter that concerns an alleged violation of both the Integrity Code of Conduct and the Former Code of Ethics (or any predecessor code(s) of ethics) arising out of the same incident or set of facts, or where there is a clear link between separate incidents, the Integrity Unit will decide whether to pursue the alleged violations under the Integrity Code of Conduct and/or under the Former Code of Ethics (predecessor code(s)).

  • Subject to Rule 12.5 (End Date), with effect from 30 April 2019, the Ethics Board will continue to have jurisdiction and authority for all Category B Proceedings under the Former Code of Ethics.

Related to Former Code of Ethics

  • Code of Ethics means a statement encompassing the set of rules based on values and the standards of conduct to which suppliers are expected to conform

  • PJM Code of Conduct means the code of ethical standards, guidelines and expectations for PJM’s employees, officers and Board Members in their transactions and business dealings on behalf of PJM as posted on the PJM website and as may be amended from time to time.

  • Code of Conduct means an agreement or set of rules not imposed by law, regulation or administrative provision of a Member State which defines the behaviour of traders who undertake to be bound by the code in relation to one or more particular commercial practices or business sectors;

  • Supplier Code of Conduct means the code of that name published by the Government Commercial Function originally dated September 2017, as may be amended, restated, updated, re-issued or re-named from time to time;

  • SAP Partner Code of Conduct means SAP Group’s global policy document that provides a set of informative guidelines to enable partners to comply with good business practices which is published on SAP’s partner-dedicated website.

  • Ethics means a set of principles governing the conduct of all persons governed by these rules.

  • StarCompliance Code of Ethics application means the web-based application used to electronically pre-clear personal securities transactions and file many of the reports required herein. The application can be accessed via the AB network at: https://alliance-ng.starcompliance.com/.

  • Employee Handbook means the employee handbook applicable to all employees of Infosys during the entire tenure of their employment.

  • PRA Handbook means the PRA Handbook of Rules and Guidance as amended from time to time.

  • COGE Handbook means the Canadian Oil and Gas Evaluation Handbook prepared jointly by The Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers (Calgary Chapter) and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy & Petroleum (Petroleum Society), as amended from time to time.

  • Reckless Conduct means conduct where the supplier of the recreational services is aware, or should reasonably have been aware, of a significant risk that the conduct could result in personal injury to another person and engages in the conduct despite the risk and without adequate justification;

  • the Handbook means the Authority’s Handbook of rules and guidance;

  • the Employment, Skills and Enterprise Scheme means a scheme under section 17A (schemes for assisting persons to obtain employment: “work for your benefit” schemes etc.) of the Jobseekers Act 1995 known by that name and provided pursuant to arrangements made by the Secretary of State that is designed to assist claimants for job-seekers allowance to obtain employment, including self- employment, and which may include for any individual work-related activity (including work experience or job search);

  • Handbook means the Handbook of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, as amended from time to time;

  • OIG means the Office of the Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

  • FCA Handbook means the FCA Handbook of Rules and Guidance as amended from time to time.

  • Company Policies means the Company policies and procedures in effect from time to time, including, without limitation, policies and procedures with respect to the Company’s “Regulatory Credit Classifications” (as defined in the Company’s Annual Report on Form 10-K filed with the Securities Exchange Commission on March 7, 2016 (the “Form 10-K”)), and as amended from time to time, and any credit risk policies and procedures in effect from time to time.

  • Code of Ethics Contact Person means the Chief Compliance Officer or such person or persons as may be from time to time designated.

  • Hague Rules means the International Convention for the Unification of certain Rules of Law relating to Bills of Lading signed at Brussels on 25 August 1924.

  • Company Benefit Plan has the meaning specified in Section 4.13(a).

  • Academies Financial Handbook means the document with that title published by the EFA and amended from time to time, on behalf of the Secretary of State.

  • Vigilance and Ethics Officer means an officer appointed to receive protected disclosures from whistle blowers, maintaining records thereof, placing the same before the Audit Committee for its disposal and informing the Whistle Blower the result thereof.

  • Employment Practices Wrongful Act means any actual or alleged:

  • consumer dispute means a dispute where the person against whom a complaint has been made, denies or disputes the allegations contained in the complaint;

  • Work ethic camp means an alternative incarceration program

  • Health benefit plan means a policy, contract, certificate or agreement offered or issued by a health carrier to provide, deliver, arrange for, pay for or reimburse any of the costs of health care services.
