Fourth Class Constable definition

Fourth Class Constable means a constable who has not been reclassified to a higher rank provided that any member who has served for a period of one (1) year as a Fourth Class Constable shall be eligible for reclassification.
Fourth Class Constable means a Member classified and paid as a Fourth Class Constable.

Examples of Fourth Class Constable in a sentence

  • It is understood that recruits assigned to attend the Recruit Training Course be allowed an additional option of commencing their payroll deduction during the first complete pay period after being sworn in as a Fourth Class Constable.

  • The Board shall prepay the tuition fee to the college and the member shall be required to reimburse the Board through payroll deductions amortized over 12 months following their reclassification to Fourth Class Constable.

  • Members assigned as coach officer will receive a premium of $250.00 per assignment or $100.00 per month, whichever is greater, for each Fourth Class Constable assigned to them for coaching.

  • Upon successful completion of the basic constable training course at the Ontario Police College, the Police Cadet will be paid at the rank of a Fourth Class Constable.

  • Promotion from Fourth Class Constable to Third Class Constable • Successful completion of Recruit Training (Ontario Police College, Aylmer, Ontario) with a xxxx of seventy-five (75) percent or better.

  • The Board shall prepay the tuition fee to the college and the member shall be required to reimburse the Board through payroll deductions amortized over months following their reclassification to Fourth Class Constable.

  • Where the reason for failure to complete the required basic training during the Probationer Constable's first 12 calendar months' service following the date of acceptance as a Probationer Constable is beyond the control of the Probationer Constable the Board shall grant the incremental increase to a pay level equal to that of a Fourth Class Constable with retroactive effect to the first anniversary of the date of acceptance as a Probationer Constable.

  • Recruits hired shall be accepted as Probationary Constable and after a period of one year of service, satisfactory to the Board, shall be promoted to the rank and pay of Fourth Class Constable.

  • A cadet who has successfully completed all components of recruit training at Ontario Police College shall as soon as possible be appointed as a Fourth Class Constable.

  • A member having obtained the rank of Fourth Class Constable is required to attend the "off-duty training days" every year up to and including the tenth year of service.
