Gas Specification definition

Gas Specification means the New Zealand Standard for Reticulated Natural Gas NZS 5442:1999 as amended or replaced from time to time.

Gas Specification means the specification or other requirements as to the composition, pressure and temperature and other characteristics of gas delivered at the Belfast Gas Entry Point specified in Annex E-1;

Gas Specification means New Zealand Standard NZS5442:2008: Specification for Reticulated Natural Gas Gas-on Date has the meaning set out in section 2.8 or section 2.9; GJ or Gigajoule means a gigajoule of Gas, on a “gross calorific value” basis;

• The Interconnected Party may determine the value of characteristic (c) in section 6.10 by calculation from the composition of gas injected, provided that: it obtains First Gas’ approval (not to be unreasonably withheld); and the method it uses is sufficiently accurate to meet the requirements of the Gas Specification.

• When so doing the Interconnected Party shall use only: industry standard equipment and facilities and suitably qualified and competent persons; and either the relevant test method suggested in the Gas Specification or such other method as will produce results that are no less accurate or reproducible.

• Service Provider acknowledges that the Gas Specification set out in the Standard Terms apply and that Service Provider must not vary the Gas specification without the consent of Shipper.

• Demonstration of Gas Quality The Interconnected Party will maintain in place and good working order adequate facilities, systems, procedures and monitoring to ensure that all gas it injects into the Transmission System complies with the Gas Specification.
