Green Bin definition

Green Bin means the designated receptacle supplied or approved by the Region for setting out source-separated household kitchen food wastes for collection.

Green Bin means a receptacle that is clearly and easily identifiable as containing Source Separated Organics. The Green Bin shall be capable of containing all materials without spillage and which shall not exceed 69cm (27 inches) in height and 40cm (16 inches) in width and 46 cm (18 inches) in length or 12 gallons (45 litres). A green bin receptacle used for collection of Source Separated Organics as may be approved by the director, and distributed or sold by the town or designate.
