Green Travel Plan means a document detailing (in respect of employees working at the Site only): the proposals for a method of modal transport to minimise the number of single occupancy vehicles visiting the Site and to promote travel by sustainable modes of travel incorporating: (i) the type and mix of development on the Site in relation to surrounding services and facilities; (ii) the promotion of a Public Transport Scheme, Car Sharing Scheme and Cycling and Walking Scheme; (iii) the existing and proposed patterns of travel to the Site; (iv) proposals necessary to satisfy the Green Travel Plan Criteria; (v) a mechanism for monitoring the Green Travel Plan (the cost of which shall be covered by the Developer) including a mechanism for information to be provided to the Council on an annual basis (or as otherwise agreed in writing) setting out the measures forming the approved Green Travel Plan and performance against such measures over the relevant period; (vi) a mechanism for appointing an individual as Green Travel Plan Coordinator who will act as a point of contact for the Council and who will be manager of the measures set out within the Green Travel Plan.
