Greenhouse Gas Credits definition

Greenhouse Gas Credits is defined in Section 10.2.
Greenhouse Gas Credits means all credits, benefits, allowances, environmental tags, or other rights as issued by any person or entity resulting from the reduction, limitation, mitigation, avoidance or displacement of emissions of any gases, including but not limited to greenhouse gases, or any other pollutants. Greenhouse Gas Credits include, but are not limited to, Certified Emission Reductions (CERs), Emission Reductions (ERs), Verified Emission Reductions (VERs) and/or Offset Credits (OFs).
Greenhouse Gas Credits means all greenhouse gas credits, carbon credits and other similar credits that can be received for the control of gases emitted by the Landfill, such as emission cap and trade allowances issued under the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative or the rules of any of its member states, and any emission credits authorized by the Global Warming Solutions Act for the reduction of greenhouse gases.

Examples of Greenhouse Gas Credits in a sentence

  • Ensure that SCPPA shall receive any and all environmental attributes associated with the generating facility and the energy output, including but not limited to renewable energy credits and air emission credits or offsets (i.e., Greenhouse Gas Credits, at the location of source and for the gross output of the plant or otherwise credited).

  • All Greenhouse Gas Credits will be solely for the benefit of the Town and will not be available for use or capture by SHL or as part of the revenues of a gas to energy project.

  • Greenhouse Gas Credits will not be included in the calculation of net proceeds.

  • That is, a Yes forecast can be thought of as a probability forecast with f=1, and a No forecast can be considered a probability forecast with f=0.

  • Where Greenhouse Gas Credits (GHG) are purchased by a GST/HST registrant, the registrant may be entitled to claim an input tax credit in respect of the GST/HST paid or payable in respect of the credits, to the extent the registrant uses the GHGs in a commercial activity.

  • In consideration of receipt of said royalties, City agrees that all rights associated with the LFG utilized by Contractor, except for Greenhouse Gas Credits, shall be conveyed to Contractor.

  • The qRD will retain accessible rights to register for, use, trade and sell any and all Greenhouse Gas Credits resulting from the development and operation of the Facility, and the Successful Proponent will assist the qRD by providing all data necessary for the quantification and/or verification processes at no cost to the qRD.
