Ground Handlers definition

Ground Handlers means the Third-Party Ground Handlers and/or Self-Handlers that have obtained the relevant Approval and Access Rights by HERMES Airports Ltd for the provision of each and all of the Ground Handling Services;
Ground Handlers means individuals who provide servicing of an aircraft while it is on the ground and parked at a terminal gate.

  • Airlines and Ground Handlers are also responsible for regularly inspecting all airside areas utilized by airline passengers to ensure safety during the loading or unloading of aircraft.

  • Following such termination notice the Ground Handlers shall, within twenty (20) working days from the date of issuance of the termination notice, cease any operations at the Airport and remove any of their equipment situated at the Airport.

  • The use of the Centralised Infrastructure is compulsory for the Ground Handlers, except for the freight pick-up and delivery terminal point (Cargo Shed).

  • Where Agents or Ground Handlers provide services that would be the subject of a safety review if booked direct by members e.g. visits and excursions, they will sign a contract agreeing to use the appropriate STF standards as a minimum.

  • Food handler means a person who works with unpackaged food, food equipment or utensils, or food-contact surfaces for a food service establishment.

  • Ground water means water below the land surface in a zone of saturation.

  • Water supply system means a water distribution system, piping, connection fittings, valves and appurtenances within a building, structure, or premises. Water supply systems are also referred to commonly as premise plumbing systems.

  • Delta means the positive or negative number that is a measure of the change in market value of an option relative to changes in the value of the underlying interest of the option;

  • Double Phase Aerosol Air Freshener means an aerosol air freshener with the liquid contents in two or more distinct phases that requires the product container be shaken before use to mix the phases, producing an emulsion.

  • PNode has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • Maritime cargo handling services means activities exercised by stevedore companies, including terminal operators, but not including the direct activities of dockers, when this workforce is organised independently of the stevedoring or terminal operator companies. The activities covered include the organisation and supervision of:

  • Service Management System (SMS) means an off-line system used to access, create, modify, or update information in a Database.

  • Rechargeable Electrical Energy Storage System (REESS) means the rechargeable energy storage system that provides electric energy for electrical propulsion.

  • Intermodal Rail Yard means a rail facility in which cargo is transferred from drayage truck to train or vice-versa.

  • fire hydrant means a fire plug or fixed pillar fire hydrant;

  • Air ambulance means any aircraft specifically constructed, modified, or equipped and used for the primary purpose of responding to emergency calls and transporting critically ill or injured patients whose medical flight crew has at a minimum two attendants certified or licensed in advanced life support.

  • Backflow preventer means any device or means to prevent backflow;

  • Auxiliary Water Supply means any water supply on or available to the premises other than the water purveyor's approved public water supply such as, but not limited to, a private well, pond or river.

  • Water Service Connection means the pipes and fixtures used for the purpose of supplying any premises in the Municipality with water from the Corporation’s water works that is located between the Corporation’s watermain in the street and the street property line abutting the premises so supplied.

  • Airport Ground Support Equipment means vehicles and equipment used at an airport to service aircraft between flights.

  • Cesspool means an unlined or partially lined underground pit or underground perforated receptacle into which raw household wastewater is discharged and from which the liquid seeps into the surrounding soil. Cesspool does not include a septic tank.
