Harvesting Plan definition

Harvesting Plan means the schedule of planned felling and harvesting operations for an area to which the contract relates prepared by the holder of the contract in accordance with the logging Manual;
Harvesting Plan means a description of the type of harvest (such as clear cuts or thins), together with diameter limits and residual basal area, as applicable.
Harvesting Plan means the harvesting plan for the Timberlands set forth in Schedule 15.1(g).

Examples of Harvesting Plan in a sentence

  • Buyer shall harvest (i.e. cut and remove) in each Harvesting Year, all merchantable Timber as identified in the Harvesting Plan for the Actual Designated Tracts for such Harvesting Year, subject to a Force Majeure Event.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, any and all reforestation obligations associated with the harvesting of the Specified Company Timber, including any reforestation obligations imposed by any Timber Harvesting Plan or habitat conservation plan, shall remain the obligation of the Seller and are not obligations of the Purchaser.

  • At the end of said thirty (30) day period, Seller shall notify Buyer of the actual tracts which Buyer will harvest to satisfy the volume requirements of this Agreement for the applicable Harvesting Year, taking into account said proposed modifications reasonably requested by Buyer, to the extent practicable (the “Actual Designated Tracts”), and Seller shall simultaneously therewith deliver to Buyer a Harvesting Plan for each of the Actual Designated Tracts.

  • Upon Seller’s delivery of the Harvesting Plan to Buyer, one or more representatives of Buyer shall review the construction of the Winter Roads and negotiate in good faith with one or more representatives of Seller to determine whether said Winter Roads are sufficient for the Buyer’s intended use and, only upon such agreement being reached, Buyer shall retain responsibility for the cost of maintaining and repairing said Winter Roads.

  • In the event Buyer conducts harvesting operations in violation of the relevant Harvesting Plan or outside the scope of the relevant Harvesting Plan, then Seller shall be entitled to pursue all remedies available at law for timber trespass.

  • All harvesting of the Specified Company Timber hereunder shall be conducted pursuant to a valid Timber Harvesting Plan.

  • At the end of said thirty (30) day period, Seller shall notify Buyer of the actual tracts which Seller will harvest to satisfy the volume requirements of this Agreement for the applicable Harvesting Year, taking into account said proposed modifications reasonably requested by Buyer, to the extent practicable (the “Actual Designated Tracts”), and Seller shall simultaneously therewith deliver to Buyer a Harvesting Plan for each of the Actual Designated Tracts.

  • The parties agree that Pacific Lumber will continue to be the licensed timber operator with respect to each Timber Harvesting Plan relevant to the Specified Company Timber, and agree that Pacific Lumber will (either directly, or though its subcontractors to the extent permitted by applicable law) perform all of the functions of a licensed timber operator with respect to the Specified Company Timber.

  • During such thirty (30) day period, Buyer and Seller agree to review the applicable Harvesting Plan to determine whether Seller has not made available, in Buyer’s reasonable judgment, a sufficient number of Preliminary Designated Tracts with pine trees and, if Buyer so determines, the parties shall negotiate in good faith to reach agreement with respect to the number of such pine trees to be included in the Preliminary Designated Tracts.

  • Seller also reserves the right to suspend Buyer’s harvesting operations on an Actual Designated Tract when Seller determines, in the exercise of its reasonable discretion, that Buyer is not conducting harvesting operations on the Actual Designated Tract in accordance with the relevant Harvesting Plan.


More Definitions of Harvesting Plan

Harvesting Plan means the harvesting plan for the Forests in the period 1 January 2005 to 31 December 2005 that is set out in Schedule 9.

Related to Harvesting Plan

  • Operating Plan means a plan adopted or amended under this section for the development, redevelopment, maintenance, operation and promotion of a business improvement district, including all of the following:

  • Mining Plan means a mining plan drawn in accordance with clause (b) of sub-section

  • Training Plan means the plan that outlines what training and assessment will be conducted off-the-job and what will be conducted on-the-job and how the Registered Training Organisation will assist in ensuring the integrity of both aspects of the training and assessment process.

  • Marketing Plan means a plan or system concerning a material aspect of conducting business. Indicia of a marketing plan include any of the following:

  • Annual Operating Plan has the meaning ascribed to it in Section 15.3(b)(i).

  • Annual Plan means the annual plan of the Trust which is prepared in accordance with clause 8.1;

  • Basic health plan model plan means a health plan as required in RCW 70.47.060(2)(e).

  • Flexi Plan means any individual indemnity hospital insurance plan under the VHIS framework with enhancement(s) to any or all of the protections or terms and benefits that the Standard Plan provides to the Policy Holder and the Insured Person, subject to certification by the Government. Such plan shall not contain terms and benefits which are less favourable than those in the Standard Plan, save for the exception as may be approved by the Government from time to time.

  • Program Plan means the tobacco settlement program plan dated February 14, 2001, including exhibits to the program plan, submitted by the authority to the legislative council and the executive council, to provide the state with a secure and stable source of funding for the purposes designated by section 12E.3A and other provisions of this chapter.

  • Decommissioning Plan means the document containing detailed information on the proposed decommissioning and covering the following: the selected decommissioning strategy; the schedule, type and sequence of decommissioning activities; the waste management strategy applied, including clearance; the proposed end state; the storage and disposal of the waste from decommissioning; the timeframe for decommissioning; the cost estimates for the completion of decommissioning; and the objectives, expected results, milestones, target dates, as well as the corresponding key performance indicators, including, as appropriate, earned value based indicators.
