Healthcare Plans definition

Healthcare Plans means the employee benefit plans, policies, programs, payroll practices, and arrangements established or assumed by the Healthcare Group under this Agreement for the benefit of Healthcare Employees and, where applicable, Former Healthcare Employees.

Healthcare Plans means any Person that administers, pays, or insures health or medical expenses on behalf of beneficiaries or recipients including the following: Government Entities (e.g., Medicare or Medicaid), preferred provider organizations, self-insured employers, healthcare maintenance organizations, or health insurance companies.

Examples of Healthcare Plans in a sentence

  • Additionally, the school nurse is responsible for the oversight of other school services, including but not limited to: assessing and responding to individual student health needs through Individual Healthcare Plans, maintaining accurate health records, participating on 504 and IEP teams (as needed or required), health promotion, disease and injury prevention initiatives, student wellness, and other responsibilities and services as dictated by law or Board policy.

  • Health care plan means any contract, policy or other arrangement for benefits or services for medical or dental care or treatment under:

  • Care Plan means a licensee's written description of a resident's needs, preferences, and capabilities, including by whom, when, and how often care and services are to be provided.

  • Healthcare services means all inpatient services (i.e., acute-care diagnostic and therapeutic inpatient hospital services), outpatient services (i.e., acute-care diagnostic and therapeutic outpatient services, including but not limited to ambulatory surgery and radiology services), and professional services (i.e., medical services provided by physicians or other licensed medical professionals) to the extent offered by Defendant and within the scope of services covered on an in-network basis pursuant to a contract between Defendant and an Insurer. “Healthcare Services” does not mean management of patient care, such as through population health programs or employee or group wellness programs.

  • Healthcare shall have the meaning set forth in the introductory paragraph hereof.

  • Health care provider or "provider" means:

  • Managed Care Plans means all health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations, individual practice associations, competitive medical plans and similar arrangements.

  • Health Care Permits means any and all permits, licenses, authorizations, certificates, certificates of need, accreditations and plans of third-party accreditation agencies that are (a) necessary to enable any Borrower to operate any health care facility or participate in and receive payment under any Government Reimbursement Program or other Third Party Payor Arrangement, as applicable, or otherwise continue to conduct its business as it is conducted on the Closing Date, or (b) required under any Health Care Law.

  • Asset Management Plan means a strategic document that states how a group of assets are to be managed over a period of time. The plan describes the characteristics and condition of infrastructure assets, the levels of service expected from them, planned actions to ensure the assets are providing the expected level of service, and financing strategies to implement the planned actions.
