Health and Welfare Plans means any plan, fund or program which was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including PPO, EPO and HDHP coverages), dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and AD&D, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death or unemployment, or vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.
Health and Welfare Plans means any Benefit Plan that was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including preferred provider organization, exclusive provider organization, and high deductible health plan coverages), dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and accidental death and dismemberment, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account, and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death, or unemployment, vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs, day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund, or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.
Health and Welfare Plans is defined in Section 4.3(d).
Examples of Health and Welfare Plans in a sentence
The Employer shall continue to make payments to Health and Welfare Plans, in the same manner as if the employee were not absent where the employee elects to pay his or her share of the cost of the plans.
This benefit applies only in situations where the benefits are not covered under Teamsters Health and Welfare Plans or other benefits.
All other obligations of the Company and rights of the Executive hereunder shall terminate effective as of the Date of Termination, except as provided for in any applicable Employee Health and Welfare Plans, any applicable Compensation Plans or as otherwise provided in this Agreement.
Participation in the Pension and Health and Welfare Plans shall be mandatory for all employees who are covered by this collective agreement.

Health and Welfare Plans means any plan, fund or program which was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical, dental, surgical or hospital care or benefits, or benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death or unemployment, or vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs or day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA. When immediately preceded by “IAC,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an IAC Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “TM,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is a TM Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “Interval,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an Interval Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “HSN,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is an HSN Benefit Plan. When immediately preceded by “Tree,” Health and Welfare Plans means each Health and Welfare Plan that is a Tree Benefit Plan.
Health and Welfare Plans means, when immediately preceded by “Dover,” the health and welfare plans established and sponsored by any member of the Dover Group, and when immediately preceded by “Apergy,” the health and welfare plans exclusively sponsored and maintained by the Apergy Group prior to or after the applicable Plan Separation Date, in each case excluding any governmental plans.
