If, as a result of the application of such rules, the adjusted limitation is exceeded, then the limitation shall be prorated among the Highly Compensated Eligible Employee and Family Members in proportion to each one's Total Compensation prior to the application of this limitation, or adjusted in accordance with any other method permitted by applicable regulations.
