Home care placement agency definition

Home care placement agency means a person that is engaged in placing home care workers in the temporary or perma- nent residences of home care consumers for the purpose of provid- ing home care services to those home care consumers, including an employment agent engaged in the business specified in s.
Home care placement agency means an organization that, for a fee, provides only referrals of providers to home care consumers seeking services. A home care placement agency does not provide skilled home health services or personal care services to a home care consumer in the home care consumer’s temporary or permanent home or place of residence directly or by contract. Such organizations shall follow the requirements of sections 25-27.5-101 et seq., C.R.S., that pertain to home care placement agencies and section 4 of this chapter 26.

  • Regulatory Agency means any federal or state agency charged with the supervision or regulation of depositary institutions or holding companies of depositary institutions, or engaged in the insurance of depositary institution deposits, or any court, administrative agency or commission or other authority, body or agency having supervisory or regulatory authority with respect to the Company or any of its subsidiaries.

  • Home health agency means a person certified by medicare whose business is to provide to individuals in their places of residence other than in a hospital, nursing home, or county medical care facility 1 or more of the following services: nursing services, therapeutic services, social work services, homemaker services, home health aide services, or other related services.

  • Home health care services means medical and nonmedical services, provided to ill, disabled or infirm persons in their residences. Such services may include homemaker services, assistance with activities of daily living and respite care services.

  • Applicable Insurance Regulatory Authority means the insurance department or similar insurance regulatory or administrative authority or agency of the jurisdiction in which the Company is domiciled.

  • Placement Agency Agreement means that certain Placement Agency Agreement by and between the Company and the Placement Agent, dated as of the date hereof.
