Of those one hundred twenty (120) Units, seventy (70) Units will be NPLH studios and targeted to residents who meet the Homeless Household under No NPLH Criteria for a period of 55 years.
The City agrees to lend to Borrower a maximum principal amount equal to the Funding Amount in order to finance the development and construction of two hundred and twenty-one (221) Units, including one hundred (120) Units for Homeless Households, of which seventy (70) Units will be targeted to residents who qualify under the Homeless Household under NPLH Criteria, and the warm shell of the Commercial Space.
Homeless Household: A homeless household is comprised of an individual or family (2 or more individuals living together) who are currently homeless or have experienced homelessness at least one (1) time over the past year (365 days).
In addition, one hundred twenty (120) Units will be rented to Homeless Households during the period in which the City’s Local Operating Subsidy Program is in operation and the City provides the Local Operating Subsidy to the Project, of which seventy (70) Units will be targeted to residents who qualify under the Homeless Household under NPLH Criteria.
These units may not be the same as units set aside under the Homeless Household Demographic Commitment below, but may be the same units as those set aside under the HOME-ARP Demographic Commitment below.
Hidden Homeless: Household with or without children who are living temporarily with friends, relatives; or households who are facing eviction within 14 days.
This Request for Applications (RFA) is open to Non-Profit Applicants proposing the development of independent Permanent Supportive Housing for either (i) persons with a Disabling Condition that also includes a portion of units for Homeless Household as defined in Exhibit B of this RFA; or (ii) Persons with Developmental Disabilities.
