Homes Passed definition

Homes Passed means the total of (a) the number of single family residences capable of being serviced without further line construction; (b) the number of units in multi-family residential buildings capable of being serviced without further line construction; and (c) the number of then current commercial service accounts regardless of the number of units serviced or the equivalent billing units.
Homes Passed means the number of residential premises, such as single dwelling units or multiple dwelling units, and commercial premises passed by the cable television distribution network in a given cable system service area in which the programming services are offered.
Homes Passed means residences that are connected (i.e., a residence with an installed cable "drop" from a Committed System or which is eligible for such cable "drop" by virtue of a Committed System passing such residence) to the cable RF Plant/head-ends of a Committed System, regardless of whether the persons residing in such residences subscribe to cable TV services. Each MDU constitutes a single Home Passed for purposes of this Agreement.

  • The number of Equivalent Basic Subscribers served by the System, the number of subscribers served by the System taking Expanded Basic Services and the bandwidth of the System, the approximate number of Homes Passed by the System and the approximate number of miles of plant included in the Assets, each as of June 30, 1996, are as set forth on Schedule 5.14.

  • If upon the removal of a Committed System from this Agreement for any reason other than termination or expiration of this Agreement, the aggregate number of Homes Passed in all Committed Systems hereunder falls below 750,000, then Operators will designate additional Cable Systems as Committed Systems hereunder such that the total number of Homes Passed in all Committed Systems under this Agreement is not less than 750,000.

More Definitions of Homes Passed

Homes Passed means each residential home or dwelling unit, including each residential single-family home and individual dwelling unit within a multi-family complex, that can be connected to a System, such that such home or unit could subscribe to Basic Services, High Speed Internet Services or Voice Services through the addition of a drop cable of 500 feet or less (if necessary), without the need of otherwise further extending the distribution plant.
Homes Passed means all single family homes, and all residential units in multi-dwelling units, capable of being serviced by any System without further trunk or feeder line construction.
Homes Passed shall have the meaning given it in Section 1.11 of the Systems Access Agreement.
Homes Passed means the number of residential homes that can be ------------ connected to a cable distribution system (provided, that each residential unit in a multiple dwelling unit shall be counted as one Home Passed).

Homes Passed means the sum of: (i) all dwelling units passed by energized cable of the cable systems of Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries which are occupied or, if not occupied, are in a condition permitting occupation, and which are capable of being furnished with a signal level not less than six decibels, including each dwelling unit in a multiple dwelling unit that has basis for a first set connection (whether or not Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries enters into an arrangement with a multiple dwelling unit for provision of service to such unit on a discounted basis) or that is an individual dwelling unit to which a first set connection could be offered and supplied, but in any case excluding any multiple dwelling unit and the individual dwelling units therein to which Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries does not have and cannot obtain access for the provision of such first set connection to such individual dwelling units; (ii) each commercial subscriber which is actually connected to the cable systems of Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries and is receiving service; and (iii) each non-connected hotel or motel (counted as one "home" each) passed by energized cable of the cable systems of Borrower or any of its Subsidiaries; PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that "Homes Passed" shall not in any event include any non-connected commercial establishments other than the hotels and motels referred to in clause (iii) above.
