Hospital Allowance definition

Hospital Allowance means a daily allowance that shall be payable up to a maximum of 14 days for Hospitalisation occurring within 36 hours of an Accident, Covered Sickness or Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) and requiring Hospital confinement in Singapore for at least 12 hours. The benefit is not applicable to anyone requiring quarantine at home, Government Quarantine Facilities or other suitable facilities to those:

Examples of Hospital Allowance in a sentence

  • Under no circumstance will We pay for more than one Hospital Allowance for each day of confinement.

  • Emergency Room Expenses are not eligible under the Daily Hospital Allowance.

  • Daily Hospital Allowance for Intensive Care Unit (ICU)If the Insured is hospitalised in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for a Disability, We will pay the amount of benefit as stated in the Schedule of Benefits for each day of Hospitalisation, up to the maximum number of days as stated in the Schedule of Benefits.

  • For Benefits under Section C (Hospital Allowance & Temporary Disablement Allowance) and Section D (Added Benefits), the Cover for Your Illness/Disease/Sickness provided by this Policy commences sixty (60) days after the Insured has been included in the Policy (Waiting Period), except for Injury caused solely & directly by a covered Accident occurring after the effective date of Coverage.

  • We will pay full cover for Hospital Allowance shown in the Certificate Schedule in respect of communicable diseases.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, the total amount payable pursuant to Benefit C1 (Hospital Allowance) and Benefit C2 (Temporary Disablement Allowance) shall not exceed the Sum Insured/Limit of Liability stipulated under Section C in the Schedule of Benefits (Maximum annual Combined Limit for Section C).

  • The Corporation shall pay Daily Hospital Allowance benefit as per limit specified in the Schedule for each day of hospitalisation up to the maximum of ninety (90) days if the Insured Person is necessarily confined in a Hospital due to any Bodily Injury.

  • The Town of LaSalle will pay 100% of a Plan covering room and board charges limited daily to the difference between the Provincial Hospital Allowance and the standard Provincial charge for a semi-private room.
