Daily allowance. 14.2.1 Employees shall start and cease work on the job at the usual commencing and finishing times and shall transfer from site to site as directed by the Company.
14.2.2 Time spent by an Employee travelling from the Employee’s home to the job and return outside ordinary hours shall not be regarded as time worked.
14.2.3 A daily fares allowance of $15.00 per day shall be payable for each day the Employee attends for work. The above stated allowance shall not be payable if the Company provides or offers to provide transport free of charge to any Employee to and from home.
Daily allowance. 3.1 A daily allowance is paid when the business trip extends to a distance of over 30 km.
3.2 When the business trip lasts:

Daily allowance. Employees away from headquarters who are required to obtain overnight accommodation shall be reimbursed five dollars ($5) per day for miscellaneous out-of-pocket expenses, e.g., telephone calls home, parking meters that don't provide receipts, and luggage wear and tear.
Daily allowance. The cost of accommodation and meals incurred in a commercial establishment for an insured person who must delay her return because of illness or bodily injury suffered by the insured person herself, an accompanying member of her immediate family or a travelling companion. The maximum reimbursement is $150 per day per insured person, for a maximum of eight days.

The daily allowance is payable when the place of work is more than 40 kilometres away (using a normal route) from the employee’s regular workplace or home, depending on where the travel begins. In addition, the place of work must be a minimum of 15 kilometres away from both the employee’s regular workplace and home. Daily allowance is payable for each day of travel as follows:
1. A full daily allowance is payable for work-related travel of more than 10 hours.
2. A half-day allowance is payable for work-related travel of more than 6 hours but no more than 10 hours.
3. When a full day of travel is followed by less than a full day, a half-day allow- ance is payable for the latter if the full day is exceeded by at least two hours and no more than 6 hours. A full daily allowance is payable if the time ex- ceeds 6 hour. The amount of daily allowance shall be the amount issued tax-exempt by the tax administration every year.
Daily allowance parental leave
Daily allowance. An allowance of $14.30 per day shall be paid by the company to compensate employees for excess fares and travelling time to and from places of work, provided that: the above stated allowance shall not be payable if the employer provides or offers to provide transport free of charge to any employee from and to a point established at a distance of not more than 5 kilometres from the employees residence. The allowance will also not be payable in the circumstances that the company provides the employee with a fully maintained vehicle.
