At Home has the same features and limitations as Roadside but with the following variations: – At Home is only available in the United Kingdom. – At Home allows You to use Roadside services within a quarter of a mile of Home or the place where You normally keep the Vehicle. – Rectifying failed repairs attempted by You or someone on Your behalf. – Caravans, trailers or other objects being towed. – The reimbursement of taxi fares.

At Home. If students leave their laptop at home, they remain responsible for completing all course work as if they had their laptop present. Repeated failures to bring laptops to school (totaling minimum of three (3) consecutive or nonconsecutive days) will result in a loss of home laptop use privileges for one (1) week, and students must leave their laptop in school in a designated area. Continued or consistent failures to bring Laptop to school may result in a total loss of laptop privileges and/or other disciplinary action in accordance with the Board’s student disciplinary policies. Although takehome participation in the Program is strongly encouraged, it is not mandatory. If parents/guardians of students eligible to participate in the Program do not wish for their student to take home a laptop as part of the Program, the parent/guardian must notify the school principal. If, at any time after the student receives a laptop, the student’s parents/guardians do not wish for the student to participate in the takehome portion of the Program any longer, the parent must notify the school principal in writing and return the laptop and all District issued accessories in the same condition they were issued that equipment may still be used by the student during the school day, but must be returned to a designated location at school at the end of every day. Once a student’s parents/guardians have opted out of takehome, the student may not resume participation in that aspect of the Program unless a request for same is submitted in writing and approved by the District Administration. Any loss, damage, or other unauthorized use will be handled as provided herein.

Some of our key at-home activities will be: • Parents will practice sight words with students at home. • Use flash cards to practice counting withchild and putting numbers in order from 1-100. • Use suggested teacher strategies to support my child’s learning with phonics.
At Home. Wash your car directly over your lawn or make sure the wash water drains to a vegetated area. This allows the water and soap to soak into the ground instead of running off into a local water body. • Ideally, no soaps or detergents should be used, but if you do use one, select one without phosphates. • Commercial products are available that allow you to clean a vehicle without water. These were developed for areas where water is scarce, so a water saving benefit is realized, as well as reduced pollution. • Use a hose nozzle with a shut-off valve to save water. • Do not wash your car if rain is expected. • Pour the bucket of soapy, dirty wash water down your sink. This way the water does not pollute surface water. Instead, it is treated at the wastewater treatment plant or by your septic system. • Consider not washing your car at home. Take it to a commercial car wash that has a recycle system and discharges wastewater to the sanitary sewer for treatment.

At Home. The Chromebook will not support a physical printer connection. Instead, users may print to their home printers using the Google Cloud Print service. A wireless home network is required for this. xxxx://xxxxxx.xxx/cloudprint Students may save documents to their Google Drive or they may save to an external memory device such as a SD card or USB flash drive. Saving to Google Drive will make the file accessible from any computer with internet access. Students using Google Drive to work on their documents will not need to save their work, as Drive will save each keystroke as the work is being completed. It will be the responsibility of the student to maintain the integrity of their files and keep proper backups. Students will be trained on proper file management procedures.
