Hosted Voice Service definition

Hosted Voice Service is a hosted telephony service provided to Customer by Atlantic Broadband over (i) an Internet connection provided by Atlantic Broadband, or (ii) an Internet connection provided by a third-party service provider (“Off-Net Services”).

Examples of Hosted Voice Service in a sentence

  • Monthly service, equipment and other fees will be payable monthly in advance while usage based charges (for example, international calls associated with Voice Service, Hosted Voice Service, or FlexTrunk Service) will be billed in arrears.

  • The Hosted Voice Service may operate through a mobile application interface from any location where Customer or Customer’s authorized end user is able to access an Internet connection.

  • Customer is advised not to use the Hosted Voice Service for 911/E911 or other emergency calls on a mobile device.

  • In addition to Sections 1 through 14 herein, where applicable, this Section 18 applies to Hosted Voice Service.

  • Atlantic Broadband reserves the right to immediately suspend, disconnect or modify Customer’s use of the Hosted Voice Service if, in its sole discretion, Atlantic Broadband determines or reasonably suspects that Customer or its end users are using the Hosted Voice Service for any of the aforementioned or similar activities.

  • Hosted Voice Service does not support a central station monitoring systems including (i) medical alert systems, (ii) any high security monitoring systems (UL 681 or similar), or (iii) fire alarm systems (UL 864 or similar).

Related to Hosted Voice Service

  • Voice Services means the telecommunications services to be provided to you under Part A and as specified in your Application.

  • Voice over internet protocol service means any service that:

  • Hosted Service means the provision of and access to the Vocera Care Transition Software and related services either at your site and/or via secure electronic access over the Internet provided to you by Vocera and/or its designee.   • Prepaid wireless calling service means a telecommunications service that provides the right to utilize mobile wireless service as well as other non-telecommunications services, including the download of digital products delivered electronically, content and ancillary services, which must be paid for in advance that is sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the number declines with use in a known amount.

  • Support Service means an activity, such as information technology, accounting, human resources, legal, and other support functions that are required to support the ongoing delivery of core services.

  • Broadband Internet access service means a mass-market retail service by wire or radio that provides the capability to transmit data to and receive data from all or substantially all Internet endpoints, including any capabilities that are incidental to and enable the operation of the communications service, but excluding dial-up Internet access service. This term also encompasses any service that the State finds to be providing a functional equivalent of the service described in the previous sentence, or that is used to evade the protections set forth in this section.

  • Internet service means a service that enables users to access proprietary and other content,

  • Service Drop means a cable that, by its design, capacity and relationship to other cables of the Company, can be reasonably considered to be for the sole purpose of connecting backbone of the Equipment to not more than one individual customer or building point of presence or property;

  • Police Service ’ means the South African Police Service established in terms of section 5(1) of the South African Police Service Act;

  • Account Information Service Provider means a payment service provider pursuing business activities as referred to in point (8) of Annex I;

  • Online Service means our on-line system for managing the electronic transmission of information between us and Providers;

  • Hosting Services means the provision, administration, and maintenance of servers and related equipment, the provision of bandwidth at the hosting facility, and the operation of the Application for access by Customer Users to be provided by the relevant hosting service provider.

  • Broadband service means a retail service capable of transmitting data over an access line at a rate greater than 200 kilobits per second.

  • Switched Access Service means the offering of transmission and switching services to Interexchange Carriers for the purpose of the origination or termination of telephone toll service. Switched Access Services include: Feature Group A, Feature Group B, Feature Group D, 8XX access, and 900 access and their successors or similar Switched Access Services.

  • Hosted Software means the software owned and controlled by Vendor or Vendor’s third-party contractor that supports the Hosted Software Services.

  • Service Desk means the single point of entry for all Service Tickets and Service Requests which can be accessed over the phone, by email or via our portal.

  • Data Services The Customer will receive a discount equal to 25% for the following Data Services: Access: Standard VBS2 Guide local loop charges for DS-1 Access and DS-3 Access Service.

  • Customer Service means Company’s customer service telephone service department or representatives.

  • Service Software means any and all software applications and any third-party or other software, and all new versions, updates, revisions, improvements and modifications of the foregoing, that Contractor provides remote access to and use of as part of the Services.
