Illicit discharges definition

Illicit discharges means any discharges to an MS4 that is not composed entirely of stormwater except discharges specifically authorized by a CDPS or NPDES permit and discharges resulting from emergency fire fighting activities. Permittees should note that there are many types of illicit discharges that in accordance with the permit need to be effectively prohibited. Only the discharges listed in Part.I.2.a.v. can be excluded from being effectively prohibited.
Illicit discharges means unpermitted discharges to waters of the state that do not consist entirely of stormwater or uncontaminated groundwater except certain discharges identified in the RIPDES Phase II Stormwater General Permit.
Illicit discharges means any discharge to the municipal separate storm sewer system that is not composed entirely of stormwater.
