Incidental Activities definition

Incidental Activities means other activities that may be necessary, convenient, or incidental to effecting transactions within a payment card network and are not specifically enumerated as “merchant acquiring activities” in O.C.G.A. § 7-9-2.
Incidental Activities means activities that are so closely related to the provision of utility services and limited in scale that it is impracticable to identify separately the costs of such activities.
Incidental Activities means activities carried on in pursuance of purposes having no significant effect (other than in relation to incidental matters) on the extent of the company’s activities;

  • Instrumental activities of daily living or “IADL” means tasks consisting of housekeeping, laundry, shopping, transportation, medication management and meal preparation.

  • Instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) means routine activities performed around the home or in the community and includes the following:

  • Environmental Activities means the use, generation, transportation, handling, discharge, production, treatment, storage, release or disposal of any Hazardous Materials at any time to or from any portion of the Premises or located on or present on or under any portion of the Premises.

  • Permitted Activities The primary activities of the trust created pursuant to this Agreement which shall be:

  • Detrimental Activity means, unless otherwise determined by the Committee, in the applicable Award Agreement: (a) the disclosure to anyone outside the Company or its Affiliates, or the use in any manner other than in the furtherance of the Company’s or its Affiliate’s business, without written authorization from the Company, of any confidential information, trade secrets or proprietary information, relating to the business of the Company or its Affiliates that is acquired by a Participant prior to the Participant’s Termination; (b) activity while employed or performing services that results, or if known could result, in the Participant’s Termination that is classified by the Company as a termination for Cause; (c) any attempt, directly or indirectly, to solicit, induce or hire (or the identification for solicitation, inducement or hiring of) any employee of the Company or its Affiliates to be employed by, or to perform services for, the Participant or any person or entity with which the Participant is associated (including, but not limited to, due to the Participant’s employment by, consultancy for, equity interest in, or creditor relationship with such person or entity) or any person or entity from which the Participant receives direct or indirect compensation or fees as a result of such solicitation, inducement or hire (or the identification for solicitation, inducement or hire) without, in all cases, written authorization from the Company; (d) any attempt, directly or indirectly, to solicit in a competitive manner any customer or prospective customer of the Company or its Affiliates at the time of a Participant’s Termination, without, in all cases, written authorization from the Company; (e) the Participant’s Disparagement, or inducement of others to do so, of the Company or its Affiliates or their past and present officers, directors, employees or products; or (f) breach of any agreement between the Participant and the Company or an Affiliate (including, without limitation, any employment agreement or noncompetition or nonsolicitation agreement). For purposes of sub-sections (a), (c), and (d) above, the General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President of Human Resources or the Chief Executive Officer of the Company shall have authority to provide the Participant, except for himself or herself, with written authorization to engage in the activities contemplated thereby and no other person shall have authority to provide the Participant with such authorization.

  • Specified sexual activities means any of the following:

  • Restricted Activities means those activities described in Section 10 of this Agreement.

  • Business Activities shall be deemed to include any activities which are included in the Company's Business now or during the effective period of this Agreement.

  • Commercial Activities means activities conducted on a commercial basis.

  • Funded Activities means the activities set out in the Grant Offer Letter and Annex 2 of these Conditions; General Data Protection Regulation and GDPR means the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679; Grant means the sum or sums that DWP will pay to the Grant Recipient in accordance with clause 4 and subject to the provisions set out at clause 22.

  • Environmental Activity means any activity, event or circumstance in respect of a Contaminant, including, without limitation, its storage, use, holding, collection, purchase, accumulation, assessment, generation, manufacture, construction, processing, treatment, stabilization, disposition, handling or transportation, or its Release, escape, leaching, dispersal or migration into the natural environment, including the movement through or in the air, soil (land surface or subsurface strata), surface water or groundwater;

  • Business activity means that term as defined in section 3(2) of the former single business tax act, 1975 PA 228, or in section 105 of the Michigan business tax act, 2007 PA 36, MCL 208.1105.

  • Motorsport Activities means any motorsport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which Motorsport Australia regulates or administers or otherwise are under the responsibility / control of Motorsport Australia;

  • Covered Activities means those land uses and conservation and other activities described in Chapter 2.3 of the HCP/NCCP to be carried out by the Conservancy or its agents that may result in Authorized Take of Covered Species during the term of the HCP/NCCP, and that are otherwise lawful.

  • Incidental Expenses means those expenses incidental to the performance of construction pursuant to an Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including, but not limited to, the expense of temporary construction power, telecommunications charges, Interconnected Transmission Owner expenses associated with, but not limited to, document preparation, design review, installation, monitoring, and construction-related operations and maintenance for the Customer Facility and for the Interconnection Facilities.

  • Incidental costs means expenses specified in a warranty incurred by a warranty holder and related to the failure of a vehicle protection product to perform as provided in the warranty. Incidental costs may include, but are not limited to, insurance policy deductibles, rental vehicle charges, the difference between the actual value of a stolen vehicle at the time of theft and the cost of a replacement vehicle, sales taxes, registration fees, transaction fees, and mechanical inspection fees.

  • Prohibited Activities has the meaning set forth in Paragraph 6.26.

  • licensed activities means things authorised to be done by the licence

  • Activities has the meaning specified in Section 7.02(b).

  • Motor Sport Activities means any motor sport activities or Recreational Services which are permitted or approved which CAMS regulates or administers by CAMS or otherwise under the responsibility / control of CAMS;

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • Principal activities means activities authorized by the license which are essential to achieving the purpose(s) for which the license was issued or amended. Storage during which no licensed material is accessed for use or disposal and activities incidental to decontamination or decommissioning are not principal activities.

  • Competitive Activities means any business activities in which the Company or any other member of the Company Group engage (or have committed plans to engage) during the Term of Employment, or, following termination of Employee’s employment hereunder, was engaged in business (or had committed plans to engage) at the time of such termination of employment.

  • Wellness activity means an explicit program of an activity

  • the two businesses means the [A/X] business and the Y business;

  • Competitive Business Activity means:
