State agency means any of the principal departments in the Executive Branch of the State Government, and any division, board, bureau, office, commission or other instrumentality within or created by such department, the Legislature of the State and any office, board, bureau or commission within or created by the Legislative Branch, and any independent State authority, commission, instrumentality or agency.
State Contracting Agency means the department for which this contract is to be performed and for which the Commissioner or Authorized Designee acted in signing this contract.
Cooperating agency means any Federal agency other than a lead agency which has jurisdiction by law or special expertise with respect to any environmental impact involved in a proposal (or a reasonable alternative) for legislation or other major Federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment. The selection and responsibilities of a cooperating agency are described in Sec. 1501.6. A State or local agency of similar qualifications or, when the effects are on a reservation, an Indian Tribe, may by agreement with the lead agency become a cooperating agency.
Independent Accountant has the meaning set forth in Section 2.04(c)(iii).
Appraisal management company means, in connection with valuing properties collateralizing mortgage loans or mortgages incorporated into a securitization, any external third party that oversees a network or panel of more than fifteen certified or licensed appraisers in this state or twenty-five or more nationally within a given year, that is authorized either by a creditor of a consumer credit transaction secured by a consumer's principal dwelling or by an underwriter or other principal in the secondary mortgage markets that engages in appraisal management services.
Independent Appraiser means a nationally recognized or major regional investment banking firm or firm of independent certified public accountants of recognized standing (which may be the firm that regularly examines the financial statements of the Issuer) that is regularly engaged in the business of appraising the Capital Stock or assets of corporations or other entities as going concerns, and which is not affiliated with either the Issuer or the Holder of any Warrant.
Governmental Bar Date means the date established pursuant to the Bar Date Order by which Proofs of Claim of Governmental Units must be Filed.
Appraisal District means the Xxxxxx County Appraisal District.
Independent Auditor has the meaning specified in subsection 7.01(a).
Private agency means any person, partnership, corporation,
Independent Accounting Firm has the meaning set forth in Section 2.05(c).
Appraisal management services means one or more of the following:
Independent review organization means an entity that is accredited to conduct independent external reviews of adverse benefit determinations.
Lead Agency means the agency facilitating the procurement and establishing the Contract.
County review agency means an agency designated by the County Board of Chosen Freeholders to review municipal stormwater management plans and implementing ordinance(s). The county review agency may either be:
Supervising agency means an agency licensed by the state
Independent educational evaluation means an evaluation conducted by a qualified examiner who is not employed by the public agency responsible for the education of the child in question.
Board of County Commissioners means the Board of County Commissioners, Orange County, Florida, or their duly authorized representative(s).
