Indirect Purchaser definition

Indirect Purchaser means any Person that is not a U.S. Person and either (1) directly holds equity interests in a Purchaser that is treated as a partnership or disregarded entity for United States federal income tax purposes or (2) directly holds equity interests in a U.S. Person that is treated as a partnership or disregarded entity for U.S. federal income tax purposes that, directly, or indirectly through entities each of which is treated a partnership or a disregarded entity for U.S. federal income tax purposes, holds equity interests in a Purchaser.

Indirect Purchaser means a natural or legal person who acquired, not directly from an infringer, but from a direct purchaser or a subsequent purchaser, products or services that were the object of an infringement of competition law, or products or services containing them or derived therefrom.

Indirect Purchaser or “Indirect Purchasers” means all persons or entities that purchased Alum in the Indirect Purchaser States indirectly from a Defendant or a co-conspirator and not for resale from January 1, 1997 to February 28, 2011.
