Instructed Operations definition

Instructed Operations means (i) an Operational Order, (ii) a mandatory direction of the Transmission Provider or (iii) as required pursuant to the Seller’s CAISO Participating Generator Agreement (explicitly incorporating Section 5 of the CAISO Tariff as in effect as of the Execution Date or any revision thereof) to meet Emergencies and reliability needs including voltage support.
Instructed Operations means (a) an Operational Order, (b) a mandatory direction of the Transmission Provider (c) as required pursuant to the Seller’s CAISO Participating Generator Agreement (explicitly incorporating the CAISO Tariff), or (d) a directive from the CAISO, Reliability Coordinator, Scheduling Coordinator, or any other entity having similar authority or performing similar functions during the Delivery Term, to curtail or increase output for reasons including, but not limited to, (i) Emergencies, (ii) System Emergencies, (iii) reliability needs including voltage support, or (iv) any warning of an anticipated System Emergency, or warning of an imminent condition or situation, such as an overgeneration, which jeopardizes the CAISO’s electric system integrity or the integrity of other systems to which the CAISO is connected.
Instructed Operations means (a) an Operational Order, (b) a mandatory direction of the Transmission Provider, (c) as required pursuant to the Seller’s CAISO Participating Generator Agreement (explicitly incorporating the CAISO Tariff), or (d) a directive from the CAISO, Reliability Coordinator, Scheduling Coordinator, or any other entity having similar authority or performing similar functions during the Delivery Term, to charge, curtail or increase output for reasons including, (i) Emergencies, (ii) System Emergencies, (iii) reliability needs including voltage support, or (iv) any warning of an anticipated System Emergency, or warning of an imminent condition or situation, such as an overgeneration, which jeopardizes the CAISO’s electric system integrity or the integrity of other systems to which the CAISO is connected.

Examples of Instructed Operations in a sentence

  • During the Services Term, each of Seller and Buyer shall promptly communicate to the other all information received by it from the Transmission Provider or other Governmental Authority regarding planned or in-progress Outages or Instructed Operations.

  • Buyer shall schedule the delivery of Products in accordance with the Operational Limitations, Instructed Operations and in accordance with Section 3.6 of this Agreement (Standards of Care) and Transmission Provider operational protocols and provide Notice of such schedule to Seller (“Buyer’s Schedule”).

  • RGUKT shall be at liberty at its entire discretion to terminate the contract forthwith upon or at any time a breach or default of any of the terms and conditions contained herein or any other circular and/or rules framed subsequently, is committed by him and/or by his Security Guards employed by it.

  • Subject to the reporting requirements of Section 3.5, nothing herein shall bar Seller from complying with Instructed Operations; provided that if Seller receives an Instructed Operation other than through Buyer, it should advise the entity issuing the instruction that such communications are to be made to its Scheduling Coordinator, and in any event, Seller shall promptly report such event in accordance with Section 3.5(b).

  • During the Forecast Period, each of Seller and Buyer shall promptly communicate to the other all information received by it from PJM or any Governmental Authority regarding planned or in-progress Outages or Instructed Operations.

  • Each Notice provided pursuant to Section 3.5(a) or 3.5(b) that includes a Notice of an Outage or Instructed Operations shall include all such information concerning such Outage, change or limitation as PJM may require to be reported by Buyer or by Seller.

  • Subject to the reporting requirements of Section 3.5, nothing herein shall bar Seller from complying with Instructed Operations; provided that if Seller receives an Instructed Operation other than through Buyer in its capacity as a Participating Transmission Owner, Seller shall promptly report such event in accordance with Sections 3.5(b) and (c).

  • To the extent that Seller receives any payment associated with the Products to be delivered to Buyer hereunder, including non-Energy or fixed payments associated with such Products received for or in connection with Resource Adequacy Requirements or Instructed Operations from any Person other than Buyer, Seller shall remit such payment to Buyer (“Third Party Payments”).

  • During the Delivery Term, each of Seller and Buyer shall promptly communicate to the other all information received by it from the Transmission Provider or other Governmental Authority regarding planned or in-progress Outages or Instructed Operations.


More Definitions of Instructed Operations

Instructed Operations means (i) an Operational Order, (ii) a mandatory direction of the CAISO or (iii) as required pursuant to its QF Participating Generator Agreement or Participating Generator Agreement to meet Emergencies and reliability needs including voltage support.

  • Certified operator means the solid waste facility operator or an employee of such operator who is present at the facility and oversees or carries out the daily operations authorized through this Permit, and whose qualifications are currently certified in accordance with Section 22a-209-6 of the RCSA.

  • Qualified Operator means a Person that has at least five (5) years’ experience operating power generation and storage facilities generally similar to the Facility.

  • Quality Assurance means a systematic procedure for assessing the effectiveness, efficiency, and appropriateness of services.

  • General air quality operating permit or "general permit" means an air quality operating permit that meets the requirements of ARM 17.8.1222, covers multiple sources in a source category, and is issued in lieu of individual permits being issued to each source.

  • Salvage operation means any business, trade or industry engaged in whole or in part in salvaging or reclaiming any product or material, including but not limited to metals, chemicals, shipping containers or drums.

  • Generation Operations Center means the location of Buyer’s real-time operations personnel.

  • Supplier Operations means all assets, processes and systems (including information systems), data (including Customer data), personnel, and sites, used or processed by Supplier from time to time in the performance of this Agreement.
