Institute of Excellence (IOE)A hospital or other facility that has contracted with Aetna to give services or supplies to an IOE patient in connection with specific transplants, procedures at a negotiated charge.
A facility is an IOE facility only for those types of transplants, procedures for which it has signed a contract.
