Job readiness definition

Job readiness and/or “job search” means the mandatory act of seeking or obtaining employment by the participant, or the preparation to seek or obtain employment.
Job readiness means activities including, but not limited to, recent job searches, vocational/educational classes, and vocational/educational groups;
Job readiness means meets vocational qualifications.

Examples of Job readiness in a sentence

  • Job readiness activities, subject to the requirements of § 645.221 of this subpart.

  • Job readiness training in combination with other training programs.

  • Job readiness and job search activities include job club, job search, workplace essentials training, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, and other rehabilitation activities.

  • Job readiness training provided in combination with any of the services in (a)-(h).

  • Job readiness skills training provides the tools necessary to be successful in the workplace and will include competencies needed to perform specific tasks on the job.

  • Job readiness skills training shall be provided via the WDB approved platform or contract service provider method approved by the WDB Director.

Related to Job readiness

  • Training hour means at least 50 minutes of actual learning, including, but not limited to, time devoted to lecture, learning activities, small group activities, demonstrations, evaluations, and hands-on experience.

  • Pilot or "Payment in Lieu of Tax" shall mean any payment made to the Agency or an affected tax jurisdiction equal to all or a portion of the real property taxes or other taxes which would have been levied by or on behalf of an affected tax jurisdiction with respect to a project but for tax exemption obtained by reason of the involvement of the Agency in such project, but such term shall not include Agency fees.

  • Work week means a seven (7) consecutive day week that consistently begins and ends on the same days throughout the year; i.e. Sunday through Saturday, Wednesday through Tuesday, Friday through Thursday.

  • Commissioning means the process for determining the need for and for obtaining the supply of healthcare and related services by the Trust within available resources.

  • Itinerary means the Itinerary for Your Tour issued by Us, subject to any amendments made by Us from time to time in accordance with the Contract.

  • Loading means the quantity of a specific substance present per unit of surface area, such as the amount of lead in micrograms contained in the dust collected from a certain surface area divided by the surface area in square feet or square meters.

  • Train means any configuration of Rollingstock operating as a unit on Track;

  • smart metering system means an electronic system that can measure energy consumption, providing more information than a conventional meter, and can transmit and receive data for information, monitoring and control purposes, using a form of electronic communication;

  • Load means energy consumed by Customers together with allocated losses and unaccounted for energy;

  • CSR means Corporate Social Responsibility.

  • Cycle means a period of time (approximately 5 days) during which each type of product is pumped for all shippers desiring transportation of such product.

  • LMP means the market clearing price for energy at a given location in a Party’s RC Area, and “Locational Marginal Pricing” shall mean the processes related to the determination of the LMP.

  • Loading Port means the port of Port Hedland or if iron ore is not shipped, or is not shipped from that port, then such port (which may include the port of Port Hedland) as the Minister may determine for the purpose of this definition;

  • Supplier System means the information and communications technology system used by the Supplier in performing the Services including the Software, the Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Customer System);
