Joint Research Results definition

Joint Research Results means Research Results invented or developed jointly by both parties.
Joint Research Results means any and all Research Results that are created, conceived of, reduced to practice or authored jointly by UMD and Sponsor employees.
Joint Research Results means any and all results including but not limited to information which relate to inventions, concepts, designs, know-how and written or oral materials etc. resulting from this Joint Research.

  • Inventors of Joint Research Results shall jointly prepare a disclosure of results and submit it to their employer.

  • UMD and Sponsor will jointly own all rights, title to and interests in Joint Research Results.

  • Within sixty (60) days of either receipt of Sponsor’s election under VI.B above, or receipt by one Party of written notice from the other of the existence of Joint Research Results, the Parties shall agree on the scope of patent applications arising thereunder, where to file such applications, and which Party will serve as the lead for all matters related to the preparation, filing, defense, and maintenance of the corresponding patent application and resulting patents (“Patent Process”).

  • PIONEER and MAXYGEN shall jointly own all Joint Research Results.

  • If the parties have not executed a commercial agreement prior to the expiration of the extension and do not agree to another extension of the negotiation period, both parties will be free to exercise or license to third parties their rights in Joint Research Results subject to a duty to account to each other and the rights granted under the Research License.

  • Research Results means any technical result acquired based on the Collaborative Research, including, but not limited to, any invention, idea, design, copyrightable work and know-how which relates to the purpose of the Collaborative Research.

  • Research record means any data, document, computer file, computer diskette, or any other written or non-written account or object that reasonably may be expected to provide evidence or information regarding the proposed, conducted, or reported research that constitutes the subject of an allegation of research misconduct. A research record includes, but is not limited to, grant or contract applications, whether funded or unfunded; grant or contract progress and other reports; laboratory notebooks; notes; correspondence; videos; photographs; X-ray film; slides; biological materials; computer files and printouts; manuscripts and publications; equipment use logs; laboratory procurement records; animal facility records; human and animal subject protocols; consent forms; medical charts; and patient research files.

  • Joint Research Committee or “JRC” has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.1.

  • Collaboration Patents means any and all Patents that claim or cover any of the Collaboration Know-How.

  • Research Data means documents in a digital form, other than scientific publications, which are collected or produced in the course of scientific research activities and are used as evidence in the research process, or are commonly accepted in the research community as necessary to validate research findings and results;

  • Development Data means all non-clinical, clinical, technical, chemical, safety, and scientific data and information and other results, including relevant laboratory notebook information, screening data, and synthesis schemes, including descriptions in any form, data and other information, in each case, that is generated by or resulting from or in connection with the conduct of Development of Products.

  • Collaboration Know-How means all Know-How conceived, discovered, developed or otherwise made by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing (solely or jointly by or on behalf of a particular Party or any of its Affiliates or permitted subcontractors of any of the foregoing) in the course of [***].

  • Research Use shall have the meaning given in Section 2.2.2 of this Agreement.

  • Licensed Content means those articles or other parts of a Licensed Title which form part of the content licensed in accordance with the Order (including all content published during the Subscription Period or other period specified in the Order to which access and use rights are granted under this Licence, and including all Previously Subscribed Material).

  • Collaboration has the meaning set forth in Section 2.1.

  • Collaboration Patent Rights means Patent Rights claiming Collaboration Know-How.

  • Research Project means a discrete scientific endeavor to answer a research question or a set of research questions related to medical marijuana and is required for a medical marijuana research license.

  • Program Technology means Program Know-How and Program Patents.

  • Program Patents has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.2.

  • Joint Know-How has the meaning set forth in Section 8.1.2.

  • Licensor Technology means the Licensor Patents, the Licensor Know-How, Licensor Materials, and Non-Patent Rights Controlled by Licensor or its Affiliates embodied in Licensor Know-How or Licensor Materials.

  • Joint IP means Joint Know-How and Joint Patent Rights.

  • SAP Technology Solution(s means SAP NetWeaver Foundation for Third Party Applications, SAP Business Technology Platform (excluding when used solely as a Connectivity App between an SAP Application and ERP), SAP Signavio Solutions and SAP Process Insights (including any renamed, prior and/or successor versions of any of the foregoing made generally available by SAP if any but excluding when any of the foregoing are used as a User Interface for ERP.

  • Licensor Know-How means any and all Know-How that (a) is Controlled by Licensor or any of its Affiliates as of the Effective Date or at any time thereafter during the Term and (b) pertains to the Manufacture, use or sale of Licensed Products, including Research Inventions (other than Research Patents).

  • Controlled technical information means technical information with military or space application that is subject to controls on the access, use, reproduction, modification, performance, display, release, disclosure, or dissemination. Controlled technical information would meet the criteria, if disseminated, for distribution statements B through F using the criteria set forth in DoD Instruction 5230.24, Distribution Statements on Technical Documents. The term does not include information that is lawfully publicly available without restrictions.

  • Collaborative matter means a dispute, transaction, claim, problem, or issue for resolution, including a dispute, claim, or issue in a proceeding, that is described in a collaborative law participation agreement and arises under the family or domestic relations law of this state, including any of the following:
