Kinship Guardianship Assistance Payments definition

Kinship Guardianship Assistance Payments or “Kin-GAP” means a program of financial assistance or medical assistance (Medi-Cal) to facilitate the achievement of permanency for foster children through legal guardianship by a relative caregiver as defined in Welfare and Institutions Code sections 11362 and 11391.
