Known Available Work definition

Known Available Work is the work that is known to be available as determined on the Thursday prior to the week in which it is available. “Known Available Work” can be for a partial day (less than seven (7) hours) to five (5) days (thirty five (35) hours) and the nature of the work is that it is known in advance.   • Best available techniques means the most effective and advanced stage in the development of activities and their methods of operation which indicate the practical suitability of particular techniques for providing in principle the basis for emission limit values designed to prevent and, where that is not practicable, generally to reduce emissions and the impact on the environment as a whole.
